When you stay at Casa Edna you are only fifteen minutes from Mid-town Ruidoso with all its colorful shops and people! This was for the Cinco De Mayo celebrations!
The Village of Ruidoso Midtown is full of beautiful stores, eateries and views of the mountains. So much to enjoy!

Alto Lake is just fifteen minutes from Casa Edna and a great place to walk, fish, and see eagles, egrets, deer, elk and other wonderful animals. Ruidoso, just a few miles away from our retreat rental, is so beautiful with snow-covered Sierra Blanca in the background! The many shops along midtown offer excellent wares and fun food establishments. It's such a great place to visit!

The home is just north of town with easy access to tubing and downtown Ruidoso. Everything was clean and functioning properly. Hot tub was great with little to no light pollution to see the night sky. Could use sharper kitchen knives but would definitely stay again if we are in town.

We've added a gas-burning stove that's easy to use and offers excellent quick heat. Also the basketball/pickleball/tennis court pleases a lot of guests.

We got snow January 1st. Here are some pics of the beautiful Sierra Blanca near the home, and snow around the home, and some nice views with our wild horses in the front of the house.
