Hello Curry County! This is the official page for the Tumbleweed 4-H group. I hope to grow our group with as many old and new youth as we can this year.
We will do monthly meetings with fun projects that will be able to be entered into the county fair!

Tumbleweeds! It is October, which means, it is time to re-enroll. This is also National 4-H Week. I am so proud of all the success that everyone has had over the county fair, state fair, and eastern fair, that is still happening this week! Our first meeting is coming up next week, October 11th! I will bring forms with me if you need them!

Happy Friday Tumbleweeds! Sorry this took me so long to get up! At our last meeting Tylie brought her pet snake and did a demonstration over the safety of handling a pet snake and even brought the food the snake would eat! Great job Tylie!
Happy Earth Day Tumbleweeds! Remember we will NOT meet this evening due to the weather, post a picture of your Earth Day activity by the end of the day Sunday on this post OR email it to me! Stay safe in this weather!
Tumbleweeds! Our President is amazing! She sang the national anthem at the open ceremony for Western Little league baseball!
Happy Wednesday Tumbleweeds! Our March meeting will be on the 8th and it will be a meeting for demonstrations! Get those projects ready and if you need help with it, please, reach out to me!

Our Valentine's Day party was a hit! So many good sweet treats, lots of cutting and pasting and glitter, and amazing kids and friends! You guys made some awesome Valentine Day cards for our area seniors! So proud of this group of kids, they are truly amazing!
Don't forget Valentine's Day party this Tuesday at 6:30pm!

We all had such a great time making scrapbook pages! Everyone did such a great job! Next meeting is February 8th, Valentine's Day party! Keep an eye out for an email with more info!

Tumbleweeds Christmas party 2021! 20 gifts were played in the white elephant game, which means we had 20 friends at our meeting tonight! Love how big our group is getting! These kids are awesome sauce!
If you would like to participate in the Christmas parade on December 4th please call the extension office and let Hailey know! Would love to see Tumbleweeds represented!

What an amazing first Tumbleweed 4-H meeting! The laughter, the conversations, and the fun we all had last night was absolutely amazing! I can't wait for our next meeting! November 9th, same place, same time, but this time we will make ristras! More information to come!
Hello Tumbleweeds! Please remember our first 4-H meeting for the 2021/2022 year will be October 19th at 6:30pm at the extension building on the fair grounds. Please RSVP so I can make sure to have enough supplies for our first project!
