“It’s, ah… not as big…” Jack said by way of apology. He glanced down. Next to Trevor he looked shamefully inadequate.

“Don’t say that,” Trevor told him, frowning. “Jack, come on. There’s plenty here…”

He dipped his head forward, and Jack gasped.

They broke out of jail. Now they're going to break my heart.

It's taken me five long years to get over Nathan and Finn. We were lovers, partners, and friends - until I came home from work one day to find the house cleared out and both of my boyfriends missing.

I never knew why they left.

Now they're back, and they insist that I'm the only one that can help them.

I should probably call the police. Aiding and abetting is wrong. But just standing next to them gives me the shivers, and every minute in their presence reminds me of how good it was, before the secrets and the lies.

I don't want to turn them in before I get my closure. But how can I turn them in at all when being with them still feels so right?

This steamy, angsty stand alone features one high speed car chase, two bullet wounds, and three men who deserve the reconnection of a lifetime. My Two Criminals is a second edition rerelease, previously titled Run. It has been re-edited and expanded - with an even better HEA!

“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” Dex asked. His voice had changed, and when Austin looked over at him, he saw that Dex’s face had as well. It was softer as he looked out over the park.

“It is,” Austin agreed. “Uh… Dex, why did you bring me out here?”

The corners of Dex’s mouth worked, as if they couldn’t decide whether to frown or smile. His jaw twitched, and he looked down at his feet. “I saw you dancing. Yesterday.”

Austin folded his arms. His pulse was in his ears very suddenly. He licked his lips and shrugged uncomfortably. “Uh… okay.”

“You didn’t tell me you danced,” Dex went on. He scuffed the ground with the toe of one boot, dislodged a rock from the grass, and kicked it toward the edge of the canyon, which was about two yards away. “I make you nervous, don’t I.” It wasn’t a question. Dex looked up, and there was an unspoken apology in his eyes.

“Geez… Dex,” Austin dropped his arms. He took a breath. “I mean… yeah, honestly. A little bit. I get that you don’t necessarily mean it but guys like you are… well, scary to guys like me.”

“Gay guys?” Dex asked.

Austin laughed a little despite the moment, and nodded. “Yes, Dex. Gay guys."

“I’m sorry.”

He took Dex’s hand, and put it on his own chest. With slow, deliberate care he moved it down, along his ribs, to his stomach, and then around the side of his torso until finally he rested it on his hip. “This is why you brought me out here,” he whispered. “Isn’t it?”

Instead of answering, Dex put his other, trembling hand on Austin’s other hip. Both hands tightened, and a shuddering breath left Dex’s throat before he swallowed, and then licked his lips. He was red faced, and looked everywhere but at Austin’s eyes. “I’m worried there won’t be any turning back.”

Austin smiled, and shrugged. “There might not be, honestly. Does that matter?”

“It might,” Dex said. “If anyone found out—”

But Austin raised himself up on his toes, and pressed his lips to Dex’s.

Doubt (Virtue & Vice Book 1) 18/03/2022

Trevor took a step and looked Jack over deliberately. He’d had six years to learn to stand up tall, proud of himself even through anybody’s damn whispers. He hated the way that Jack seemed to
hunch in on himself, making him look small.

He opened his mouth anyway. “You’re right,” he said.

Jack grimaced. “I just think—”

“You stand way out in that crowd,” Trevor told him, taking a step forward. “You’re way too cute for some small town wedding like this.”

Jack’s mouth hung open. When he took a breath, he started to unfurl - shoulders loosening, spine straightening.

He didn’t say anything, though.

“Sorry,” Trevor said after a moment, deflating a bit. “I just meant, you know, you should—”

The distance between them closed. Jack went up on his toes.

A rush of heat coursed down Trevor’s body like a warm torrent of honey, spiced with sudden lust. Jack’s lips didn’t even move much, and his tongue stayed in his mouth. Trevor didn’t move. If he moved, it might end.

When Jack finally withdrew, Trevor leaned forward and had to catch himself. The hangover probably didn’t help him recover from the dazed feeling that had almost knocked him over. “Uh… what was that for?”

“I… don’t know,” Jack admitted.
