Feeling overwhelmed by all the chemicals in your products?

You’re not alone! 🌟 Let’s take the first steps together! 👇

1️⃣ Step 1: Check the labels of your top 5 most-used products for ‘fragrance’ or ‘parfum’. These sneaky phthalates are endocrine disruptors that mess with your hormones. Find alternatives for products with these ingredients!

2️⃣ Need help? Download the EWG Skin Deep app to check product ratings. Aim for products rated 1 or 2.

3️⃣ Assess your plastic use! Plastic water bottles, food storage, and canned foods expose you to BPA, BPS, and BPF.

4️⃣ Switch to glass or stainless steel, avoid microwaving in plastic, and limit canned foods.

I want nothing more than for every woman to feel empowered in their healthcare.💥

To know how best they can care for their bodies, improve their health + love their most expansive + authentic lives.

And too often I see ongoing symptoms hold women back from fully showing up or FEELING their best.

Hormone imbalances can lead to so many common symptoms + conditions that don't need to just be accepted and dealt with.

You don't need to accept -
→ feeling tired all the time
→ having irregular periods
→ struggling with your fertility
→ hair loss
→ acne
→ mood swings
→ low motivation
→ anxiety
→ constipation or diarrhea
→ gas or bloating
→ brain fog

These (and usually so many other things) can ACTUALLY improve.

These 5 tips are very EFFECTIVE starting places WHILE identifying the root cause of imbalance to support longer + more sustainable healing.

If you’re navigating thyroid imbalances and are curious to learn more about supporting your hormones DM me FUTURE + let's chat!

I used to run a fertility program titled, The Fertility Success System.

This name was chosen in large part based on a strategy or naming online courses I read about online.

I thought I was doing what I "should" for the dream I had in bringing this business baby to life.

My ultimate goal has always been to provide more accessible reproductive healthcare to the world.🌎

But over the last year, I have changed... a lot.

My business has changed and my skills have continued to evolve + grow.

The Fertility Success System, in it's direct, masculine, solution-driven nature does not fully encompass the essence of all that my program holds.

So, what IS this program?

It is constantly growing and evolving. But what feels most alive right now in this stage of development is, it is..
t r a n s f o r m a t i o n.

It is tending to all the spaces of what the transformation to motherhood is.

It is blending care from my decade of clinical experience supporting women with menstrual symptoms + couples growing healthy families WITH the deep mental/emotional/spiritual transformations that take place when we become parents.

It is a whole new framework on how to really put into practice the ACTUAL things that can help improve fertility health without continually guessing about what will work.🙋🏼‍♀️

It is root cause medicine in the full sense of the phrase — getting to the root of imbalances and supporting there for lasting changes.👏🏼

Making deep transformations + nourishing the transition that is ... becoming a mother.🤱🏼

I am elated to welcome my newest business baby to the world →

Fertile Future: Nurture Your Transformation to Motherhood.

This 6 or 12 week program weaves together group coaching, 1:1 support, online learning, community support, some medical detective work and so, SO much more.

It is ALL of the things I have used and seen effectively restore healthy periods, optimize ovulation, improve s***m + egg health + help couples conceive with CONFIDENCE over the last 10 years.

If you're curious to learn more, comment or DM me FUTURE and I will send you more information.💖

Things I see cause a lot of confusion and discouragement for women:
> Getting off birth control
> Being diagnosed with PCOS
> Experiencing unpredictable cycles
> for months without getting pregnant
> Recovering from pregnancy loss

What is the common thread with the things above?

The art of restoring your period.🖌️

Having a healthy menstrual cycle is like having a clear window into the vibrant health of the whole body.🪟

It's equivalent to living a healthy life, a fertile life and feeling in steady balance with one's health.🤩

When cycles are irregular or otherwise impacted, that can be a sign that there is more to support in really optimizing health. Yes, perhaps for a healthy pregnancy but also for a healthy YOU. 👏🏼

Here are 4 ways to help restore your period:

🔸Identify the root cause of imbalances.
Is it related to gut health? Poor nutrient absorption? Stress? Imbalance of fuel in vs. fuel out (over exercising)?
>>> Nourish your body, mind + spirit with activities you LOVE + consider getting support from your doctor at exploring the ROOT CAUSE of your symptoms.
〰️TRUTH — just getting a PCOS diagnosis and being sent on your way is NOT the answers you deserve for comprehensive healthcare.

🔸Balance blood sugar — this plays a big role in the metabolic stability for the body and our hormones. Focus on FAT + FIBER + PROTEIN at every meal + snack.

🔸Support hormone levels + metabolism — avoid things that disrupt hormones, chemicals like BPA or phthalates. Love on your liver. Support healthy detoxification + elimination.

🔸Replete nutrient deficiencies — this is a big one for coming off hormonal birth control, but ALSO very important if there is any sign of gut inflammation or issues.

If getting your cycle back on track is feeling overwhelming + confusing, you're not alone! 🫶🏼

If you're ready to get some answers and direct support in optimizing your cycle, your health + your fertility.. comment below or DM me READY and I will share what my first step would be to restoring your period.

Are you tired of trying to decode your own digestion, figure out the root cause of your symptoms AND optimize your health for fertility? 👋🏼

Do you have a hunch there are multiple things connected to your health, your symptoms + your fertility? 🙋🏼‍♀️

Well, I think you're onto something💡

When it comes to optimizing hormones, egg quality + fertility, that conversation HAS TO include digestive health. 💩

Why?

Our GI tract is solely responsible for taking all the good nutrients we eat during the day and turning it into fuel for our bodies, cells and hormones.

👉🏼 Fuel for cellular division, egg quality, immune stability.

👉🏼 Fuel for hormone production, hormone metabolism and so much more.

One of the biggest aspects to fertility care I see missing is assessing + supporting optimal gut function.❣️

And I am SO excited to offer specific educational + transformational content all about this connection starting tomorrow!

Take the leap and join us! I promise you will walk away with actual, tangible ways you can improve your gut health AND your hormones.

It's simple! All you have to do is sign up + show up!

If you want to optimize your hormones, your health + fertility, a restrictive diet is NOT the way to go. 🙀

People restrict foods for many reasons. I absolutely relate to the pattern of restricting because of *fear* something will be harmful or not in line with optimizing something I'm working on for my health.

This is especially true when in the very special place preparing for a pregnancy.🐣

Many of my patients are limiting their diets because they have a lot of reactions to foods.

→ dairy gives them gas
→ gluten makes them bloated
→ peanuts give them fatigue
→ egg makes them get a migraine

These are real reactions, yes. But they don't have to be there forever. 🙅🏼‍♀️

🌸 A healthy diet is a diverse diet.

We want to be able to
• eat delicious foods
• travel and not feel restricted
• trust + believe that our bodies are being well fueled by the nutrients we eat
• absorb a variety of nutrients for optimal health
• nourish our bodies for healthy hormones
• get rid of bloat, gas and other GI symptoms

But if there are issues related to the GI system, those things can be harder to experience.

Gut health is SO important for pre-pregnancy preparation + is a common missing link I see in couples who are for some time without success.

That is why I've created the Healthy Gut, Fertile Future masterclass and it's happening live NEXT week!

If you're dreaming of growing your family, don't miss this opportunity to learn specific strategies to optimize your health + create a fertile future.

Tending to our digestive health is essential for optimal health, longevity + vitality. 🔑

These 4 tips are relatively easy when reading an instragram post, but working with patients over the last 10 years I know how HARD it can be to put them into practice.

It's like knowing we "should" exercise, but making the time, remembering and staying motivated just doesn't happen everyday. 🙋🏼‍♀️

If you're wanting to make a change to your self-care habits or patterns, it really does take focus, strategy + accountability. It takes committment, ritual + inspiration. 💖

4 direct ways to support your gut health include:
• Slow down at meal time
• Choose organic foods, when possible
• Diversify plant-based foods
• Increase fiber intake

I hear something from patients often that I am REALLY ready to change.

"If I had only worked with you years ago, I probably could have prevented so much money spent and confusion on this fertility journey."

Now, there is no way to go back and change choices or decisions we make. There really is no wrong decision either, it's all contributed to the whole of our experience in some way. 💫

But I have been reflecting on the transitions women go through when becoming mothers and how challenging that road to pregnancy can be for some.💔

🙋🏼‍♀️How can I best support couples wanting to grow their families?

I feel like my work is evolving, as all living things do.🌸

My deepest passion has always been and always will be in caring for healthy & vibrantly growing families.

And after many, many years working with couples, helping hundreds of patients improve their health for pregnancy, I see so clearly ...

the importance of optimizing health BEFORE trying to conceive.🤯

We invest in our futures in many ways.
→ We go to college to invest in our career.
→ We invest our finances for future financial stability.
→ We spend time with loved ones to invest in community and relationships.
→ We invest in our vehicles with routine oil changes.

And we can equally invest in our whole body health, wellness AND vitality in the months or years leading up to motherhood. 💯

What comes from this? 👀

🌼Confidence in conception. Nourished pregnancies. Beautiful births. Smooth postpartum transitions. Healthy kids. Blossoming families.🌼

Sure, nothing is perfect or always preventable. But given the opportunity to prepare, nourish and invest in optimizing an experience, would you? 🤔

If any of this is inspiring to you, grab my Fertility Checklist and join my newsletter. LINK IN BIO, . I send out actionable and nurturing insight each week, including details about my work and upcoming (FREE) resources.

M came to see me confused & overwhelmed. She had been diagnosed with hypothyroidism following an early pregnancy loss. 💔

Blood work after the miscarriage showed her TSH was 4.8 and her provider suggested she start medication, wait 3 months, then start trying again.

But M wanted to know more. She wanted to know WHY her thyroid was out of balance and beyond taking a medication for the rest of her life, WHAT she could do to support her health, hormones + fertility. 🕵🏼‍♀️

We started with a comprehensive thyroid panel including:
‣ TSH
‣ Free T4
‣ Free T3
‣ Reverse T3
‣ Thyroglobulin antibodies
‣ Thyroid peroxidase antibodies (TPO)

These are in addition to a comprehensive whole health panel I run on nearly all my fertility patients.

Results revealed her T4 (the precursor hormone to the active T3) was normal.

Her T3 (the active form of thyroid hormone) was low and her reverse T3 was slightly elevated.

AND .. she had a slight elevation in her TPO antibodies.

She was SO relieved to get more insight and information as to what was going on in her body.

And the best part?❕

We got crystal clear on ways to support her thyroid health beyond just taking thyroid medication forever. 🤩

We optimized her nutrients, hormones, sleep + nutrition with specific support.

Her thyroid antibodies are now close to normal range & all of her thyroid hormone levels are healthfully within range. 👏🏼

She feels SO ready for pregnancy, so healthy and balanced in her body. She's no longer constipated, hair loss has improved + her fertile signs are clear every month. 😻

Doing some deeper investigation with testing was such an important part of this case, as if often the situation with thyroid issues. 🥰

Optimizing nutrients for thyroid health before pregnancy can be so, SO supportive.

Healthy thyroid function is so important for pregnancy + fetal development and is something that should be assessed & supported in any situation of low thyroid symptoms.

But how to know if the support you're taking is best?

These nutrients have abundant research in support of stabilizing thyroid levels & could be something to ask your provider about:

‣ Selenium: helps conversion of T4 → T3 (active thyroid hormone)
‣ Inositol: can lower antibodies + stabilize TSH
‣ Magnesium: commonly low in hypothyroid folks
‣ Iodine: required to make thyroid hormone
‣ B vitamins: helps with thyroid function + hormone levels
‣ Vitamin A: required for activation of thyroid hormone receptors
‣ Copper: needed to balance selenium + zinc
‣ Zinc: required for thyroid hormone function
‣ Probiotics: stabilizes microbiome **a key factor in thyroid issues
‣ Turmeric: lowers inflammation, a common trigger for thyroid reactivity

I talk with women every week who feel overwhelmed by the information they read online or hear on podcasts + how to actually implement support into their health.

I TOTALLY get it. I'm an information gatherer AND a perfectionist, so I too naturally want to gather all the information AND implement it all perfectly.

Without understanding the root cause of WHAT to support, knowing how to implement intervention is beyond confusing.

PCOS is the most common endocrine related condition in women of childbearing age & one of the most common causes of irregular periods.

Having a healthy, regular menstrual cycle is a vital sign .. a sign of vitality & homeostasis (or, balance) in the body.

Irregular cycles, however, can be a sign of imbalance & in the case of PCOS, that tends to be an imbalance in hormones + hormone metabolism.

Did you know there are 4 types of PCOS?

Understanding the common root causes to PCOS is key to knowing how best to support your body. 🔑

Because PCOS isn't something that responds well to band-aid therapy. We want the real deal, root cause support for this one. 🤩

And that's where real change happens.

Lasting change, healing + period restoration. 🤗

Improving hormones ovulation + fertility. 🙌🏼

I wrote up everything you need to know, including:
‣ SYMPTOMS
‣ ROOT CAUSE factors to address
‣ 4 TYPES of PCOS
‣ what NUTRIENTS to support
‣ key LIFESTYLE tips

One of my FAVORITE 'old school' remedies 👉🏼 castor oil 💫.

I talk about castor oil with many of my clients.

Why?

Because castor oil is packed with essential fatty acids, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory compounds that make it a powerful addition to your self-care routine. Castor oil has been used for its medicinal properties and therapeutic benefits for centuries!

💛 It's used to promote hair growth and nourish the skin.

💛 It's one of my go-to's for constipation, hormone imbalances, liver congestion + menstrual symptoms.

Plus, it's affordable, widely available, and easy to use!

Here are just a few ways you can incorporate castor oil into your routine:
🌟 Massage into the scalp to promote hair growth and thickness
🌟 Use as a natural moisturizer for dry, rough, or irritated skin
🌟 Apply to the abdomen to soothe digestive discomfort and promote regularity
🌟 Use as a natural remedy for menstrual cramps and other menstrual-related issues
🌟Apply to liver are (right side ribcage) to support liver flow + detoxification
🌟 Use over the lower belly/pelvis to promote blood flow and circulation in support of fertility
🌟 Apply to joints and muscles to reduce inflammation and promote healing

My favorite way to use it is wrapped in a pack, it's so easy and accessible. *link in bio for my favorite pack!*

Remember to always choose high-quality, organic castor oil. 🤩

Have you tried it yet? Let us know your favorite ways to use castor oil in the comments below! 👇🏼💕

If I had a nickel for the amount of times people have come to me with lab results they weren’t given a comprehensive understanding of .... 🤑

Or, the age old "my doctor said all my lab results were normal", but looking at them with a functional medicine eye reveals SO much under the surface. 👀

Like the new patient I had today who was told she was NOT iron deficient with a ferritin of 21.3. 😒

But what about when labs ARE out of range and education about what they actually mean is mediocre at best? You're left to ask Dr. Google what your lab results mean.🤨

One of the most confusing labs many people on a fertility journey have questions about is AMH or, anti-mullarian hormone.❓

AMH is nuanced and the bottom line is, it shouldn't be used in isolation to 'predict' ovarian reserve.

So nuanced that I decided to write up a little article about it. The short write up includes:
‣ What is AMH
‣ What current research is suggesting about its utility in fertility
‣ What it might mean if it’s “too high” or “too low”
‣ What can cause fluctuations in the value
‣ And most importantly — how you can support a sub-optimal level

If AMH is something you're navigating or your provider is suggesting, head over to the article to learn more so you can go into your decision making process with a little more confidence. 🤓

This specific style of bodywork literally changed my life years ago.

👉🏼Arvigo Maya abdominal therapy 👈🏻

I was struggling with irregular periods coming off birth control. I was suffering from constipation, migraine headaches, anemia & chronic fatigue.

I was in medical school at the time and really thought those symptoms were just par for the course (because it's almost socially acceptable to "suffer" through challenging times in our lives, right?). 🙅🏼‍♀️

Under the guidance of my own naturopathic doctor, I started receiving this style of bodywork monthly and I credit it (and the other healing I was invested in at the time) for:
‣ restoring my periods
‣ improving period pain (you don't have to suffer through cramps!)
‣ regulating my digestion (buh-bye constipation)
‣ optimizing egg quality for healthy pregnancy(s)
‣ preparing my womb for nourishing both of my babies
‣ healing postpartum
‣ continuing to support optimal hormones, pelvic health + digestion

I use this method of support for so many of my clients + patients and have seen such profound changes. Including:
‣ helping couples conceive
‣ heal period symptoms
‣ restore regular ovulation
‣ Improve painful periods + endometriosis symptoms
‣ prepare body for pregnancy
‣ support healthy progression of pregnancy
‣ prepare for labor + delivery
‣ postpartum recovery
‣ regulate digestion
‣ heal pelvic trauma, both physically and emotionally
‣ ease perimenopause symptoms

Abdominal therapy brings circulation, optimizes blood flow, lymphatic drainage and tonicity to the pelvic + digestive organs. We also work posteriorly on the sacrum & pelvis to improve overall pelvic health.

And truly, when was the last time you nourished your belly with a healing massage? It's so often a part of the body that is avoided, ignored or disregarded when it comes to healing touch + intention.

Tending our womb, pelvis + digestive organs can have profound effects on overall health.

If you're interested in learning more DM me "BELLY" and I will send you some more information!

Eating foods that are in season has so many health benefits beyond just eating 'healthy' foods.

That's in part because:
‣ Foods in season have more vitamin + mineral content
‣ Fresh foods contain more phytonutrients
‣ In seasons foods can help improve egg and s***m quality
‣ Fresh fruits + vegetables lower inflammation
‣ Seasonal foods help optimize hormones

Here are some yummy spring foods to grab next time you're at the grocery store + ways they can support your hormones, health + fertility!

‣ Asparagus — a great methylation supporter! Rich in folate, vitamins A, C & K as well as fiber. 🌱
‣ Fresh herbs (rosemary, basil, mint) — many health benefits here, great for the gut microbiome and vitamin content. 🌿
‣ Cabbage + Brussel sprouts — abundant in vitamins A, C & K which help as antioxidants & fatty acid metabolism.
‣ Broccoli — a great source of fiber to help with gut health as well as vitamin C! 🥦
‣ Apricots — potent in vitamins A, C & K and lutein, which can support blood vessel health. 🍑
‣ Avocado — a superfood for blood sugar balance! Has all fat, fiber + protein to help balance blood sugar as well as vitamin E to help modulate inflammation. 🥑
‣ Strawberries (usually later spring) — potent antioxidants to help with egg and s***m quality 🍓
‣ Collard greens, kale + spinach — rich in vitamin A, C & K, which can help with cellular function. Also great sources of fiber to help with hormone balance and gut health! 🥬

I recently sent this list out in my newsletter along with some incredible resources for RECIPES because knowing the foods is 1 thing, but what + how to make meals with these foods is something totally different. You know? 🤪

Don’t miss out on resources I'm sending via email! Grab my free guide *link in bio* to get a morning routine that will support your hormones AND be added to my list. 🙋🏼‍♀️

💛 Ready to optimize your health?
💛 Want to get pregnant?
💛 In the depths of IVF and wanting more direction on how best to support your health for pregnancy?
💛 Pregnant and wanting to ensure you're using the right nutrients for your + baby's health?

‣ You might want to consider your genetics.

Genetics are our body's blueprint for how millions of biochemical reactions work.

Everything from cellular energy to immune function to hormone balance and detox.

Genetics code for chemical reactions that literally conduct every second of our health + life.

AND..their function is easily changed by our environment, nutrient status + lifestyle.

Let me break this down:
‣ We get 1 copy of our genetic information from each parent & it becomes the blueprint for how our body's function.

‣ Just like the blueprint for a home...it's the structure.. the foundation. The rooms are set, the windows are in place & the doors are created.

‣ Then, we start adding furniture. Paintings on walls, tables, couches, chairs. This is our environment.

‣ Think of how things change when you re-organize a room. The flow of your routine might change. When the hamper moves from 1 corner of the room to another, you're likely to leave your dirty socks in the wrong place.

‣ There is a shift in function until order is restored.

There is a similar relationship between our body + our environment and all of this could be a missing link to your fertility journey.

I have 2 incredible resources for you to learn more, including a very informative podcast I recorded with the incredible . We cover specific ways to support your body, folate + fertility!

Magic happened here today.

Just wrapped up recording a really exciting podcast with a very special colleague. 🤩

Collected blood work for a long time patient who’s wanting to grow their family again 🤗 and a postpartum mama who is wanting to improve anxiety, fatigue and proactively prioritize her health 💕.

I spent 90 minutes deep diving into support with a new client who is navigating PMS/PMDD, constipation, fatigue and gut health.

I got to see another long time patient having some acute symptoms, support those but also hear how her life has blossomed in so much joy since becoming a parent.

I met with my incredible mentor and coach who is helping me strategize how to run an efficient business, be an entrepreneur and show up as the best version of myself.

I ordered tests, sent emails, scheduled patients, had expansive conversations.

Magic ✨.

It comes in many versions + experiences but it’s there.

And it was here today and my heart is full. 💖

What is one piece of magic you got to experience today?
