New York Times reporter, Nikole Hannah-Jones discussed on CNN the frustration that black people feel from the fact that the obtaining of their rights is always contingent upon "convincing enough white Americans that they actually deserve them". We are uniquely seated in a time when more people are willing to listen than ever before and more of white America hurts FOR black America than ever before. Ignorance and hate will never leave us, but if we miss this moment then we may never get it back. Black people, SPEAK. Everyone else, LISTEN. And know that none of us are free until we all are.
