The weather forecast isn’t looking great for the weekend so with a heavy heart, we have decided to cancel our Santa Sleigh Tour this year.
We do this tour to spread festive cheer and make our community smile and do not want to put anyone at risk in these treacherous conditions.
We will be donating our sweetie supplies to our two primary schools.
We wish you all a very Happy Christmas and hopefully will see you all next year.

We are really sorry but having been out just now, it is just too treacherous for Santa to tour tonight. We don’t want to put anyone at risk so have taken the difficult decision to cancel tonight.
We are planning to reschedule to Sunday 18th instead.
Please tell everyone you know and keep an eye out for updates on this site.

Tonight’s the night!!
The fabulous Santa Sleigh Tour will be starting their tour at 6 pm on from the ferry carpark.
We’ll tour along the esplanade, down Lancaster road to park lane, up to Fordstone then left onto sandy lane. We will pull in to the Youth Centre carpark at approx 645 to 7 pm where Santa will happily pose with you for pictures.
There will be some festive nibbles and hot chocolate available for everyone so come along and have some fun!

Rudolph has collected Santa’s post boxes from both Coops now and all you letters (over 75 of them) are now being read by Santa!
He will send out his replies over the next few days so keep a look out in your letter boxes!

Rudolph delivered your donations to both our schools this morning - £150 to each of them!
Fleetwood’s Charity School will use their money to buy some outdoor activity items and Carter’s Charity School are putting theirs towards creating a new sensory area for their children.

We had a great time last night and hope that you did too. So much goes on behind the scenes to organise the tour as we’ve tried to show with our daily ‘Behind the scenes’ posts in the build up to the tour. The efforts are made worthwhile when we see the children’s smiling happy faces as we pass by. We will be doing a formal shout out to all those involved which will appear in the January Focus Magazine. In advance of that, I personally want to thank all the support team who made last night happen.🎅🏻

Tonight’s the night!
Santa will be landing at 1730 to start his tour - how exciting!!

We are delighted that once again, our very own Andrew Wrathall (aka Julia’s dad) is stepping in to fill this role. Andrew has donned his Santa outfit many many times starting with his first appearance at St Oswald’s Church fair over 25 years ago. For those of you who have grown up in our community, he may well have been the Santa you met as a child and now your own children will share the same excitement you felt when they see him tomorrow!

Santa will be touring Knott End and Preesall tomorrow!
He will be rounding up his reindeers and elves around 5.30 pm in the car park off the Esplanade at Knott End. Don't worry about what time he will reach you as you will be able to track Santa along his route!
