Wini-cee: Now we got a lot of 4th gen boy groups. Do you think there's more competition between 4th gen groups than there was with 3rd gen groups?
Kayla: Definitely, at the start of every generation there's always that competition but towards the end there's always that one group who becomes THAT IT GROUP that they don't have to bother about competing anymore
Even in the 3rd gen, at the beginning it was always a tough competition but now it's a different story. So it's expected for competition to be at that early stage what matters is which group would maintain that hype as time goes on
Wini-cee: there's this drama going on between fans on who's the 4th gen leader
What do you think
Kayla: lol, yes recently there's been different 4th gen fandoms debating on which group deserves the title of 4th gen leaders . Tbh, I think time will tell but for now all they can do is argue about it. No one has that title yet because we are still at the competition stage of 4th gen . So everyone is pretty much equal at this point because every group is succeeding past the other groups in one thing or the other. No one has a stable spot yet. There's so much room for dethroning at this stage
Wini-cee: true, finally a lot of people think or rather claim that aespa is like junior blackpink
Do you agree or disagree?
Kayla: first, I think they both have totally different concepts aside from the girl crush vibes. I'm 50/50 on this one. Why people address them as junior Blackpink is is because so far they kind of have similar aura to blackpink I think mainly because of the girl crush vibes and their persona on stage. And I also disagree because they just debuted so we are yet to see another different aspect from them. As time goes on we will know more if they give off similar vibes to blackpink

Kayla: yes I do know
Wini-cee: they disbanded only few days after their debut you know it feels odd
Do you think there's anything odd relating to their disbandment
Kayla: I think for a company to disband a group there must certainly be a reason. A group can't just disband without clearance.
Wini-cee: in a way it reminds me of the group tea party in the movie imitation it feels like that time they had to disband the same day they made their debut

Kayla: yes it does relate to the way their career ended
Wini-cee: could you please tell us your thoughts on the whole issue
Kayla: I was able to ask about the issue it was said that the company wasn't financially stable to fund the group and the girls weren't willing to end that way. This came with threats from the girls to sue the company. So for the company to be justified ,I read they just debuted the girls and then disbanded them.
Now my thoughts are 50/50 on this. I understand where the company is coming from. In K-pop we know everything requires funds you need to have that budget before debuting a group. Now a company who barely has money to provide constant food,shelter for them,would definitely not have the income to pay for your promotions and album production etc. So it's better for the company not entering such risk that would lead them nowhere.
Now from the girls point of view it's understandable why they want to debut so badly . I mean imagine after going through training for years , dieting, keeping fit, forcing yourself to meet the beauty standards of the society only for you to be told you won't debut anymore. That is definitely a huge pill to swallow and anyone in their shoes would feel used.
