Creation Series: Day 1
Mixed Media
17 ½ x 24 ½ x 5”

Genesis 1:1-5 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

Most recent commissioned piece. Experimented with a little bit of a different style for this and I’m pumped about it! It should go without saying, but with the way our country is right now.. I’m just gonna go ahead and say it, support our police officers 💙

I Created this piece for my Dad for Father’s Day to hang in his office at the Auto Farm! I will definitely be posting a story/highlight of the art process soon! Words can’t begin to describe how amazing my Dad is, but he’s just the best guy I know and I’m so grateful God gave me him as a father. Love you Dad ♥️

BLM 🇺🇸 (Created for a peaceful protest)
Acrylic on Canvas
18 x 24”
I felt conflicted about posting this because the last thing I want is to seek attention from the suffering of others. I do not personally understand the pain the black community is feeling. But I hear you. I see you. I’m mourning with you. I’m learning. And I stand with you. I created this artwork for a peaceful protest and was just going to leave it at that without posting. But then I listened to a sermon by in which he talked about how we are called as Christians to be soldiers of the cross, not to guard our privilege but to use it to do good, further the kingdom, and to bless others. We are accountable for what we are given, I was given privilege and the gift to create. I hope to use both to speak to and inspire others. I’m not great at expressing myself with words, but this is what came out when expressing myself the best way I know how, through art. If anyone is interested in prints please DM me, all profit will support black lives matter. Also please do not comment on here with hate, or ignorance. I do not care about losing followers and I will block you.

Prayer for America
Pen and ink on King James Bible page
11 x 8”
I’ve seen a lot of hate and negativity lately. But I was reminded of this verse in a recent sermon from my church. (Romans 13:1) God allows everything to happen, whether that’s who’s put into a place of authority or even the fact that we’re in the middle of a pandemic.
So I thought rather than adding to that hate I’d experiment with the pages of an old bible I was given, and create a piece of art to remind everyone to pray in the midst of all this. Pray for those in authority, pray for our country, and pray for world as a whole. I hope this piece speaks for whoever is seeing it and I hope everyone is doing their best to stay positive and safe ♥️
Romans 13:1 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

Attempt #2 at this idea I’ve had for a while. Happy with the progress but it’s still not quite what I’ve been envisioning. So I’m going to call this one done, and get started on another 😬🤷🏼‍♀️

Finally got around to painting this Blue inspired raptor I sculpted a year and a half ago 🥰

So I repainted the first flag I ever created during this week of self isolation. This hung in my Dad’s office and drove me crazy every time I saw it cuz I knew I could do it better now. The stars were all screwed up and I wanted to add more detail. So I repainted the stars for the 9th time and I’m actually happy with this piece now! 🙌🏼🇺🇸

Photos from Chelsea Pafumi Art's post 29/03/2020

So portrait drawing is totally not my thing, but while in self isolation with more time than usual I figured I should challenge myself. If for some reason you’re unaware, this is my absolute favorite singer, the demon of screamin, Steven Tyler!
I contemplated not posting this but progress and overcoming struggles are so important as an artist! Plus this is a definite improvement from the last time I drew him 7 years ago. Maybe in another 7 years I’ll post an even better one 😜
Side note this drawing of is based off of an amazing photo taken by .whitford

One of my favorite parts about being an artist.. When someone has an idea/vision, and you get to make it come to life for them in a piece of artwork!
It was really cool combining my love for our flag/this country with my black and white style of painting. BUT favorite part was the collaboration and meaning that went into this piece. I created it for my friend Ryan who I met years ago working for my Dad. We met up, discussed/typed, a lot, drew out some ideas, ate some nuggs, and I got a clear plan for his vision. I couldn’t wait to get to work! I went to my Dad’s junkyard to collect the bolts I was going to need. Borrowed some of my cousin’s sockets to make sure I had the right sizes I was looking for. My Dad then taught me how to use a wire grinder to clean those bolts. And my “brother” used a die grinder to cut them down for me. After that I went off and did thing sculpting and painting. Really cool experience. And thank you to my Dad and fam at Chicopee Auto Farm Inc for the help!

This is me, painting every inch of the canvas that doesn’t touch the wall. Cuz that’s one of my biggest pet peeves... A canvas with unpainted sides! Almost done with this one 😬🇺🇸🤘🏼

07/03/2020

Jived with the art (Like literally drove around with it in the passenger seat of my truck yesterday. I’m weird. Whatever.) Talked out some ideas with my wonderful Mom. Decided to make some changes. And now I LOVE this piece again 😍 Still in progress, but almost done!

Getting there.. And now, time to jive with the piece to figure out how I want to finish it 😬

Anticipation 🇺🇸 26/01/2020

Mixed media on wood. 36” x 60ish”

This piece was anything but easy to create. Physically, working with new materials; building a new canvas design, collecting meaningful objects, and manipulating the barbed wire. Creating this piece also affected me a lot emotionally. I had pretty big plans for this work of art but those did not go as I had originally intended. Working on this piece I’ve had a lot of time (27ish hours to be precise) to think, to sit in frustration and confusion, to feel gratitude, to feel anger, to feel happiness in doing what I love, to feel incredible loss and sadness, but most importantly to pray, seek out my purpose, and learn to lean into God and trust in His plans. It was also really incredible getting the opportunity to display this piece in Boston at my first showcase! Hope you all enjoy, and if anyone is interested this piece is for sale!

RAW was such a great experience! I met some very talented artists, got the opportunity to make new connections, and even sold some of my work. It was such a surreal experience having people I’ve never met interested in my artwork, what inspires me, my creative process, and my future goals. It was really cool being able to share about how my own life experiences have shaped my artwork. And also past/future opportunities of being able to use my gift to create art especially for some of the amazing people who are serving/have served our country and how passionately I feel about them and all they have done for our country, which can be seen through the pieces I create.
I can’t express how grateful I am for the support I’ve received through this process of my first art showcase. Whether that was family/friends traveling out to Boston to show their support, buying tickets for the show even if they couldn’t make it, and the kind words and encouragement I received along the way. Thank you for reaching out and giving me this opportunity! HUGE thank you to my Mom for being my assistant for the day, always being my biggest fan, and keeping me grounded, I couldn’t have done it without you! And the most gratitude to my God who has blessed me beyond belief with the people He has placed in my life and this incredible gift of creating He has given me. I don’t take that lightly and plan to use this gift not only to enjoy doing what I love but to reach others by using that gift.

Happy Halloween!! 🎃👻 Figured I would post a throw 🔙of a few of the pumpkins I’ve carved/painted in the past! (Sorry about the quality of a few, I’m pretty sure my “Legolas” pumpkin was taken on an EnV2 flip phone 10ish years ago 😬)

Transformation Post. Absolutely HATE this piece but glad I still have it to show the first canvas painting I ever created.... And the result of what three years of art school, lots of motivation, passion, and great teachers will do! And a pic of me in New Zealand in front of the Hobbit hole that inspired both of these pieces!
