MMG’s journey Home

Margaret Mary-Grace Heid was born 11 weeks early on 07/22/23 at 8:16AM at the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia - weighing 2LBS 14.9OZ, ironically enough they did not measure her at birth, however we were told she was around 13inches.

Emily was traveling to Philadelphia with her best friend Natalie to celebrate at her baby shower with Rich’s family and unexpectedly delivered Miss Margaret at CHOP. Margaret will be in the CHOP NICU for an extended period of time to ensure she is healthy and continues to grow to reach a point where she can come home. Emily and Rich will be traveling to CHOP daily from Rich’s parents home in Gilbertsville as well as from hotels in the Philadelphia-ish area. We are limited to a certain number of visitors at the hospital, but please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask if you are wanting to visit with us and Margaret to see if we can add you to our rotating list.

We greatly appreciate all of your love, support, and prayers through the long journey ahead. If you feel inclined to send us a card or word of encouragement via mail please do. Any items or gifts can be sent to us at Rich’s parent’s address which will be visible on this page once we are able to turn the page to private.
