Not gonna lie. During recovery, I’d lay in bed with (literal) blinders over my eyes listening to episodes of to get me through.
To keep from losing my mind I got fairly versed on signal flow, isolated power, buffers (!), and of course the POG. I know, I know, it’s all… very exciting.
First plug in of the reworked board with the POG nano (XMAS haul from their shop); first thing I put my fingers on was just stupid fun for some song writer-y quirk. Best part is all the tone with no noise between the notes.** Thanks Dan and Mick!
**Translation for humans who aren’t guitar nerds- small boxes wired in a row make guitars sound very, very good 😁

Hi Insta friends, this is Bridget, Travis’s wife. We’re writing this note together. Our family is safe, despite some damage to the house. But people are still struggling in SW Florida. Travis’s hometown of Englewood was devastated during Hurricane Ian. After the storm, during clean up, Travis suffered a severe concussion. He’ll make a full recovery but it was scary at the beginning with difficulty speaking and walking on his own. He can’t look at screens or do much reading for the next few weeks, but if you leave a comment, I can read it to him. It would make his day.
If you can, please consider a donation to the Red Cross for relief efforts in SW Florida.

I’ve been going to through the back catalogue since this came out and it’s crazy to think just how present Chili Peppers have been in my life- maybe yours too I’m guessing.
