This was the best possible way to end the spring wedding season for me. An amazing and down to earth couple with some of the nicest family members. I’ve known the Paoletti parents for awhile, and they are the kindest, most welcoming people I’ve ever met. I wish you both all the happiness in the world, and know you have a great family to guide you in this chapter of life. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of it.

Sabin and Stanley, you have both been amazing to work with whether is be in person, phone or zoom calls. I love that you knew what you wanted, and also were willing to trust in me from flavors to design. You, your friends, and family were beyond kind and complimentary. Even despite the classic Redding heat wave, it was the perfect evening. I wish you both all the happiness in the world.

I’ll never forget when I saw a +61 Australia number come across my phone. I quite literally thought it was spam, but my gut told me to pick up the phone. And I am so glad I did.

Robert and Brian with were fantastic putting it all together. I definitely recommend following Licia’s timeline- you won’t miss a thing.
Brittney with executed the florals with absolute perfection.
Adam was so completely helpful, knowledgeable and the garden area was excellent for this day.
Barbara with was spectacular in their service and food was top notch.

I am just the cake lady, but I do often get asked about other vendors and who I have worked with, as in this case. I really felt the credit was owed to those I had the pleasure of working with. It really matters who your vendors are. Who can pull off a day like this on such a hot day without breaking a proverbial sweat. (Because let’s be honest, we were on fire).

This cake was an all pink champagne cake, with white chocolate buttercream and fresh strawberries. The size for the design and servings we did a 6” top tier and 8” double barrel bottom tier.

I did the cake cutting and plating, including providing plates, silverware. If you’ve had me do this in the past, you know it takes a lot of stress off of all the things you don’t need to think about. I handle everything.

Happy Mother’s Day!

To all the women who are in my mom tribe, thank you for always being the best support system and inspiring me.

I hope today is full of love and coffee. I’m sure none of us slept in, and are doing all the mom things, but remembering how fleeting the little years are.

I enjoyed creating these giveaway boxes, and I hope all the winners are enjoying them too. 🩷

I’ve been wanting to do this for a while and I am so glad someone took me up on it 😁 A real working volcano cake. You can only set this one off once, but worth it. To add to the realness of it, pop rocks! You can hear the cackling and that makes it even more dimensional.

Not to be left out, a few dozen classroom cupcakes were decorated with fire in mind, and topped with pop rocks for the kids to enjoy 🔥

The volcano was a chocolate cake with a chocolate mousse and chocolate buttercream.

I had the pleasure of creating this wedding cake for an awesome and down to earth couple and their guests for their wedding yesterday.

I stayed to cut and serve the cake for their guests, and I have to say I don’t think I’ve ever been hugged and thanked by so many kind individuals. Everyone was so lovely and complimentary- many if not most had a tasting of each tier flavor, which to me is a huge compliment. Truly a great evening.

Cake tiers:
- Red Velvet re-imagined: layered with caramel and pecan filling and cream cheese buttercream
-Lemon Poppyseed - layered blueberry compote, mascarpone crème and champagne buttercream
- Vanilla - layered with caramel and vanilla/almond buttercream

Some clients walk into your life with an unexpected heart felt story behind their cake. My job is to bring the vision into an experience worthy enough to remember.

Butterflies are a great reminder of transformation and hope. 🦋

This is a 40th birthday to remember ⛳️

Deciding to accept this challenge was the easy part. The rest was just hard work and fun! An all Oreo cake to match his golf bag. Everything down to the golf balls was edible (except the flag pole). Added some coordinating cupcakes 🧁 for fun!
