It seems like yesterday when you joined your first soccer team, Dolphinettes, at the age of 4. Seeing you on the field for the first time I remember then, you were going to take your soccer life very seriously. As your parents, we can truly tell you that you have given us 14 years of joy, laughter, and excitement watching you on the field and playing your best every time since you joined AYSO to LEGENDS FC.

Now that you are graduating and moving to a new chapter in your life, I want to let you know that Mom and Dad will always be right behind you cheering you all the way whether it will be on the field or in this great big world.

Today we continue our senior tributes honoring senior captain and midfielder Lexi Friedrich.

To our Lexi…aka…
Our daughter the “PrinceA*s”, and “LexiPoo!”😆
You started your soccer journey almost 13 years ago with one of your now best friends, Indiana, and their neighbor, who happened to play professional soccer in Barcelona, “Coach Juan!” He mentored the both of you with the basic mechanics of soccer in his backyard, and certain various local parks!
That basic training turned into a lot more technical training which all led to your love, your passion, and your HEART for soccer!!!❤️⚽️
Then after about a year, because of your talents, he took on the responsibility of actually getting a whole team together, based around you both, to coach and play in your first year of AYSO! Then continued on for about the next 6 years! Then from there went onto a fantastic FFSC club team in which you had an amazingly incredible experience with being top of your game!!!!
Not to mention having the privilege of being captain of your club team, and making varsity pretty much right off the bat in high school and being captain there as well! 🥹
Not only have you had an incredible soccer journey since then but you’ve grown continuously in being the most beautiful, smart/intelligent, kindhearted, great friend, funny/quirky;), lovable, lover of animals, responsible (well not with cleaning your room🤣) mature more then most girls/daughter we know!!!! We are beyond proud of you and your accomplishments in soccer AND in academics and can not wait to see what the exciting future holds for you!!!!
We will always continue to be encouraging, supporting and loving you with each and every step of the way!!!!!!

T-E-N years of soccer… where did the time go? Mom and I enjoyed the years of watching you play AYSO, club soccer and high school soccer. We are going to miss watching you in action. Thank you for allowing Dad to be your coach for all those years. We couldn’t be prouder of you as you set an example to others to be a good, respectful player. Thank you for all the highlights!!

Today we celebrate senior defender Hannah Green.

Hannah:
At 4 years old, we placed you in soccer hoping to give you wonderful and fun memories, which it certainly did. It also allowed you to make great friendships and learn how to work with others. Every year that went by, we were amazed at how you got better as a defender (goalie that one season) and yet kept your amazing sweet spirit. Our schedule was full with practices, games, school, and church but you always stayed ahead. We are so proud of you and love you more than you will ever know.

Felizya:
Thirteen years ago, we signed you up for soccer. It was a cute activity to provide fun for you & your sister, so we thought! We never would have imagined that 13 years later, you would grow into a passionate & formidable soccer player, and finding your sweet spot position in this sport. It has been an honor to watch you play and grow from year to year, not just in your skills, but the maturity to juggle games, practice, church, school, and life. We are the most blessed parents in the world and love you more than you could imagine.
