some TurkeyTail pics, Trametes versicolor. One of the most beneficial medicinal mushrooms out there. and one that grows everywhere in the wild world. truly a gift from God.

reishi conks forming. similar tech to the turkey tail, except instead if slicing a line for the fruit to grow out of, you slice a cpl little x's. I have such better conk formation this way vs growing a bit of an antler and then introducing air and letting it conk out.

⚡️new wild sample for the culture bank, turkeytail, trametes versicolor, will be interesting to see how this looks in the lab, near swallowtail pond. thick fruits, plus large bulbous area where it attaches so should be able to get something pretty clean.🫶🏻

Some obvious stuff, agitation helps, store in the dark, and then some stuff that suprised me, like the absolutely cliff drop/rapid decay of tryptamines in freeze dried P. cubensis. They reference another paper that shows no degredation in freeze-dried amd give a hypothesis for why they may have dif results (slicing vs not slicing prior to freeze-drying). 🤷‍♀️
