Elixir Journeys – Elixir Journeys The ingredients of an Elixir Journey are simple. A big dose of nature, plus great food and wine. All just 90 minutes north of Sydney.

What a nice way to start the day… a SUP lesson with a view.

Ask permission:
Before cutting the branch of a tree or removing a flower, tell the spirit of the tree or plant what you are going to do, so that they can withdraw their energy from that place and not feel the cut so strong.
When you go to nature and want to take a stone that was in the river, ask the river keeper if he allows you to take one of his sacred stones.
If you have to climb a mountain or make a pilgrimage through the jungle, ask permission from the spirits and guardians of the place. It is very important that you communicate even if you do not feel, do not listen or do not see. Enter with respect to each place, since Nature listens to you, sees you and feels you.
Every movement you make in the microcosm generates a great impact on the macrocosm.
When you approach an animal, give thanks for the medicine it has for you.
Honor life in its many forms and be aware that each being is fulfilling its purpose, nothing was created to fill spaces, everything and everyone is here remembering our mission, remembering who we are and awakening from the sacred dream to return home.~

Always a bonus to cross paths with wildlife. This fellow was hopping across the large boulders on the Bullimah Spur track. First time I’ve seen one here although I’ve known they are around - usually pretty shy.

We are very proud of this achievement - it was a fantastic project to undertake and deepened our understanding of our impact on the world. For us, it's all about showing people the wonders of nature so they will be more inclined to take care of it and this is an acknowledgement that we are on the right path.

We are pleased to be starting our certification journey with as part of Destination Central Coast's strategy to become an eco-certified destination.

We passionately believe that tourism is the key to changing the world for the better. We believe that by helping people to appreciate the wonders of nature, they will be more inclined to take care of it. However being in nature doesn’t have to mean roughing it and so we aim to combine soft-adventure with barefoot luxury.

We won’t bamboozle you with latin names for rare plant species, but we might recommend you hug a tree (it feels great!). For us it’s about appreciating being outdoors and enjoying great food and great wine in beautiful locations.

As a nature-based tour company we already have many eco-practices in place such as avoiding use of plastics, recycling, leaving no trace, teaching people about how precious nature is and donating $5 for each guest to Koala Clancy. However we know there is always room for improvement and are delighted to be embarking on an Ecotourism Australia certification as part of the Central Coast's mission to become an Eco destination.

The ECO Certification program certifies tourism products (tours, accommodations, attractions) with a primary focus on nature.

It assures travellers that certified products are backed by a strong, well managed commitment to sustainable practices and provides high quality nature-based tourism experiences.

The ECO Certification program is a world first and it has been developed to address the need to identify genuine nature and ecotourism operators.

We recently did a fun photoshoot and interview with about our 'X Marks the spot secret picnic'. It was even more fun to stay on afterwards and enjoy the sunset as if we were a client - not another soul in sight. Our goal is to create experiences that might be found by those staying at a luxury lodge. They are designed to give people a feeling of remoteness (despite the proximity to Sydney), showcase the region’s beauty, and of course wow our guests.
