Scholarship Opportunities at ZPE⚡️

Dancers will walk away with more than just knowledge and experience from the classroom. Take a look at the incredible scholarships and opportunities ZPE is providing at our first event this September 9-11!

Although the focus of the weekend is what dancers will gain in the classroom, ZPE wants to provide dancers with the tools they need to expand their resume and vital experiences for career readiness.

Scholarships to future events with both 25% and 50% values will be awarded to invite dancers to join us at events later this season.

We have partnered with our very own and .hannah to give dancers additional on camera resources. Dancers selected for these scholarships will work with creatives to build a concept and create meaningful work.

Lastly, ZPE faculty will be selecting stand out attendees to receive and invite to the exclusive mentorship. This mentorship is invite only and designed for dancers who are ready to take their training to the next level. Mentees will have the opportunity to take class with industry professionals, work on future projects through Zenki Productions and have choreography and live performance opportunities.

ZENKI PRODUCTIONS EXPERIENCE

Take a look at our incredible faculty for the first ZPE event, September 9-11.

A weekend “dance on film” experience that invites dancers to take class with and work alongside notable industry professionals to learn and set work for a concept video. On the first day of the event, dancers will learn choreography and attend an optional audition for the film. This open class will be part of the filmed piece, as well as be a “mock audition” similar to what dancers will experience when auditioning for real-world dance opportunities. On the second day of the weekend, classes will be held in the morning, where dancers will learn choreography and phrases, learn to improv for the camera, explore partner phrasing, and have an open discussion and Q&A with industry professionals. Dancers that were selected the previous night for the film will stay and learn additional choreography to film that night. The third day of the event will encompass a second day of classes, centered around preparing the dancers of tomorrow’s industry by faculty they know and love. Following classes, all dancers attending ZPE will be invited to the closing show; where a weekend recap will be shown, the film created the night before will premiere as well as scholarship announcements to future ZPE events and to several of our sponsors' events and opportunities!
