I'd like to reach out and thank Kenny Kiler and Richard Rothschild for coming out and speaking at my July 5th fundraiser. Kiler spoke to the need for cooperation between the board of education and the commissioners, something that has been absent these fast few years while Rothschild espoused the Christian roots within our nation and its constitution.

I would like to thank the South Carroll Republican Club and the Tri-District Republican Club of North Carroll County for formally endorsing my candidacy for County Commissioner in District 1. These clubs are excellent avenues for involvement at the local level and I am thankful to have their support.

This campaign is a grassroots movement. As commissioner, I will make myself accessible to the voters of Carroll County.

Praise God! If the words of Justice Samuel Alito stand, this will be a major victory in the culture and one crucial step towards eradicating the wickedness of abortion. This was made possible because of legislation passed at the state level. Local elections matter. The states are how we Make America Great Again.

We applaud Concerned Parents of Carroll County for taking up this fight. This grooming violates the Neutrality Policy implemented by our Board of Education. Carroll needs strong elected officials that take these matters seriously.

I'm running for District 1 County Commissioner to bring back true Conservative Leadership to Carroll County

As a result of the 2020 census, Carroll County will undergo a redistricting of its commissioner districts. This redistricting will be rather dramatic. All six of the proposed maps have New Windsor and Union Bridge in District 1 and no longer in District 4. Although the Board of Elections has my campaign listed as for District 4, it is reasonable to anticipate that I will be redrawn into District 1, so I want to announce to District 1 my candidacy for your consideration.

I am a Christian conservative who is pro-life and pro-constitution. I am running to defeat mandates and vaccine passports and ensure that 2020 lockdowns never again happen in Carroll County. I am running to end Carroll County’s current quasi-charter government in which an unelected bureaucrat runs the county government. This power must be restored to the people. I am running to protect rural communities from overdevelopment, and to ensure that your dollars do not undermine your values in supporting dangerous ideologies like Critical Race Theory.

Being an open seat, the people of District 1 have a prime opportunity to elect a genuine conservative commissioner. I believe that through based conservative leadership Carroll County can be a bastion of freedom in Maryland.

Response To Comments Made by Commissioner Rothstein:

Recently, Commissioner Ed Rothstein made comments that attempted to placate those suffering from Mass Formation Psychosis following Carroll County’s decision not to implement a mask mandate. Rothstein argues that if there was a state of emergency, then Carroll County would have the grounds to implement a mask mandate.

He then defended the discrimination against unvaccinated Carroll County employees through the imposition of a mask mandate upon them. Rothstein believes that masking unvaccinated county workers is leadership. That is not leadership; that is retaliation! The commissioners have collectively chosen to punish those who independently exercised their right to bodily autonomy.

It’s 2022 and Ed Rothstein still believes that masking prevents the spread of viruses. We all know someone who got vaccinated that later contracted Covid, including the most recent Omicron variant. These vaccines neither provide protection against nor reduce the transmission of this virus. Ed Rothstein perpetuates these falsehoods. He does not stand for truth. He does not stand for freedom.

With Republicans like Ed Rothstein, who needs Democrats? I encourage the people of District 5 to hold Mr. Rothstein accountable at the ballot box.

I intend to oppose all mask and vaccination mandates as County Commissioner. Furthermore, I will stand up for the fired unvaccinated healthcare workers whose wrongful termination has placed an undue burden on our healthcare system.

Statement Announcing Candidacy:

Today I have filed to run for County Commissioner representing District 4 of Carroll County. I am doing this as a Republican. I believe, with strong conservative governance, we can make Carroll County a bastion of freedom in the deep blue state of Maryland.

What does this look like?

It looks like making Carroll County a free place to conduct business, especially for small businesses.

It looks like holding the government accountable for their abuses of power. For the past two years, the government has been hostile to the commerce of Carroll County with draconian measures. The government does not have the right to impose mandates and lockdowns on its citizenry. While several counties across the country stood up to their governors and refused to violate the Constitution, Carroll County complied. I will not violate my oath to the Constitution. Moreover, I will go on the offensive to create new ordinances to ensure this never happens again.

It looks like preventing the next generation of voters from becoming indoctrinated into Cultural Marxist concepts like Critical Race Theory.

It looks like protecting your streets from being overrun with rioters and criminals by supporting law enforcement.

It looks like safeguarding your dollars from being wasted by inefficiency or projects that undermine your values.

I’m running to carry out this mission, not to make a career climbing the political ladder.
