Happy Thanksgiving friends and family! We are thankful for YOU, and we are thankful for our artists today. We made some pretty fun stuff. Warm wishes on this rainy and blustery Wednesday. No class next week, then one more for November. 🦃🥧🥧🍴🏠

Jessie’s house was at the Whittier resource fair for special needs individuals. Did you stop by and say “Hi”? We’re getting ourselves out there, and known. We’re here to help!

Wednesdays Art class. We made beautiful pumpkin drawings with oil pastels, very realistic. Our artists are blooming! Join us for our next class!

Last cooking class of October. Our chefs enjoyed making cutie pumpkins, and spooky waffles. Both homemade and boxed. Ended the class with donuts and hugs! Join us next month for more cooking classes!

We had so much fun with our artists today.
We still have open slots for registration if you want to join us for Halloween art fun.

First Cooking Class was a fantastic experience! Everyone had so much fun trying their food and trying something new. It was so much fun and so delicious!
We made tasty salads and quesadillas!

I am looking for a few volunteers to help with Jessie’s House classes in October on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30-5:30pm. Let me know if you are interested. I am happy to sign for any High School service hours. Thank you!

Our first Art class session for Sept wrapped up on Wednesday.
Wonderful students, who made beautiful art pieces. Progression from the first class to the last was exciting to watch. We hope they take with them all that they have learned, and continue to use their skills to make even more art.
Don’t forget to sign up for our upcoming Inclusive Fresh Foods course which will start on October 2nd at the La Habra Community Center.

Today’s first Inclusion Art Class was a success!! We had fun made several pieces of watercolor paintings! Thank you!

Hi! I’m Jessie. I have met some amazing friends with a large array of special needs. I have a huge heart, a lot of love to give and patience to spread around. I long to give our community of individuals with special needs a safe place to grow, learn, have fun and develop friendships. We will host class with a variety of arts, crafts and skills to encourage creativity and independence.
