Why is running a coaching business so difficult for many in 2024?
First of all, the online market is more crowded than ever, and it’s tough to stand out where everyone is fighting for attention.

I have been thinking about this a lot.
For the past 13 years I have been adapting and changing our programs, offers and services based on the changes happening in the world around us.
The following points will be really useful if you are thinking about creating or updating your own courses or programs.
1. Personalisation: Society, big tech, algorithms are creating more and more personalised solutions and we are getting used to it. And we like it.
What people are looking for now is a program that is made just for them.
So, when you’re putting your course together, think about ways to make it adjust to each person’s needs or likes. It’s all about giving them a special experience that’s all theirs.

2. More Proof: People are drowning with choices and they are often confused.
They want to see that your program will actually help them change or improve and that actually works.
Share stories of success, show off the results, and don’t forget to highlight your own journey too.

3. Make it simple: Life is packed with stuff to do, and the people’s time is scarce. You have to take this into consideration.
Your program needs to fit into your audience’s busy lives. Make sure they can access it easily, and let them learn in a way that suits them best.

4. Build a Community: Learning together is more fun and more motivating.
We need each other. Create a space where your clients can connect, share, and support each other.
It’s not just about learning; it’s about being part of a group that’s all in it together.

5. Be clear on the value: Everyone wants to feel like they are spending their money wisely.
But also they are busy and very few people actually read your marketing material.
Be clear about what they’ll gain from your program and communicate it in a way that is simple and memorable.
Your entire program promise should fit in one short sentence.
