Wuyang Geological Park is located in the Yu Long district downstream of the Wujiang River southeast of Chongqing City. The site was recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site in 2007 and ranked as the 6th Chinese heritage and the only one in Chongqing province to be recognized.
Designed by French architect Paul Andreu, it is a curved arch-shaped building, with a total surface area of 149,500 square meters, emerging like a giant pearl lying on the center of the lake. The super-curved ellipse with titanium shell has a maximum length of 213 meters, the short-length segment is 144 meters and 46 meters high. Split into two by a 100 meter wide glass panel at the bottom.
