Last night I created this Mandala. I love the combo of blue and gold so playing around and this is what happened, feels a bit Art Deco to me…
I have just listened to the “your art matters”podcasts, part of the United Art Space event for November. This group of people are amazing and I’ve met some incredible people 💕
Tell me what this makes you think of…
Todays finished Neon Pastel acrylic pours heavenly colours, calm and colourful 💕
Flight of tranquility finished piece
I loved painting this one, like a peaceful dream 🥰 Acrylic canvas
Although I love acrylic pours I have a love of trying new things and I never get bored creating.
Part of my inspiration for creating art recently has been tranquility and peace. For me the sea and sky can be visual representation of this. Somewhere to rest your eyes on a horizon and be mindful or to meditate, instead of looking at a screen.
Lately I have been trying out some sea/cloud scapes. I love the vastness of the sea and sky and the idea of soft clouds you could fly through.. here is my work in progress below
Metallic Galaxy acrylic pour. I seem to have created a Star Trek gorn monster in the top right!
Google earth acrylic pour. Sometimes there’s no way of knowing how these artworks will turn out, one reason I love acrylic pours as they’re so beautifully unpredictable and open to interpretation.
Some more previous acrylic pours. Got a bit of a thing for blues 💙
Thanks for visiting my page, this is my first post. 🥳
A little about me, I have been a secret artist for so long. I have been hiding and afraid to own my work. I love painting and the serenity it grants me. So after taking some courses, and In the spirit of self improvement, I have created a page to live my artist life and stop hiding. Please be kind!
A lot of my inspiration comes from nature.
I love the ocean in all its forms, and this piece is inspired by the excitement of a stormy sea. I love the expressive movement that can be created with paint. This was my first structured Acrylic pour, on canvas board.
