And so it has come to this. For the toxic, outdated, violent structures of the past to meet their end, my old ways of being in this world must also meet their end.

How could I demand something that I myself am not able to offer?

How could I demand a peaceful society if I am not willing to be an active member of it?

Far too long have I lingered on the precipice of this new dawn, clinging desperately to the familiar haunts of the ego. But the cries for
peace grow louder everyday and She can wait no more.

In honor of all the lives worldwide that have been taken at the hands of malevolent energies that have utilized our collective unintegrated shadow to do their bidding, I surrender.

I surrender myself to the Magdalene flame of unconditional love.

I surrender myself at the feet of the Goddess with a vow to uphold radical honesty and self responsibility.

I vow to do everything in my great power to address, dismantle and release any internal distortions and illusions that could ever keep me from looking into your eyes and seeing the reflection of Self.

I vow to do everything in my great power to restore and cultivate peace within myself for the well being of our children, the well being of Her children and for the future of life on this planet.

With an ancient knowing that in doing so, I offer myself as a building block of a new collective way of being which will in turn yield new forms of society, wholeheartedly

I surrender.

Our bodies are sacred temples of the Goddess who has lain dormant in the collective consciousness of humanity for many many years, and they will be treated as such for anything less will not be tolerated and will be washed away.

*fun fact* the first time I travelled to Firenze, I stayed in an apartment owned by Francesco. He then introduced me to his girlfriend at the time, Lorena! ( they’re married now, and I had the honor of attending their wedding last year). Lorena is who originally introduced me to Valentina Perissi and her family who helped me create .

To be able to move through space with the uninterrupted connection to the Divine Love that I Am. Sovereignty.

Since I was 9 years old, I’ve been in deep connection with the lands of Italia. There is more to this than meets the eye. She knows me. And I know Her. And the experience of my Sovereignty is always magnified whenever we’re together.🌹❤️🌹

🌹 It was the beginning of summer, 2019.I didn’t know how I was going to do it. And then my dear mother told me “ don’t worry about how… you’re just going to do it.” 🌹

🌹 I called my sister Maiysha Rashad and her best friend Andrea Shahayda. I called my amazing stylist Thomas Carter Phillips. i called hair legend Anastasia Stylianou. I called my Italian sister Valentina Perissi and I called my loved ones in Firenze who offered to help me in any way they could. .

And by the grace of the Goddess, within a few months I found myself in the streets of Firenze, doing it… just like my mother said I would.🌹🌹🌹

And what would the have been without my favorite red lip “And the Winner is” 💄😘

🌺One of the greatest honors in this life has been and continues to be the journey of Remembrance. 🌺

My h***y, my sister, my sweet friend… I pretty much only have photos of us laughing..: cuz that was us and that will always be us. When I was a child, the luminaries were my celestial friends. The sun I used to call “Bo’jenay” and the moon I used to call “Sheh’jenay”. They were my loves.

In the past few years, something happened and I subconsciously became afraid of the moon and her lunations, but especially her fullness.

I became afraid of the uprooting winds of change she often brought with her…Of the misaligned relationships and situations I’d grown attached to that might dissolve in the fullness of her sometimes tough-loving, motherly gaze. I had become afraid of the unknown.

As I continue on this homecoming journey, I see that fear of the moon was only a fear of my own fullness, a fear of my wildness, my darkness, my light, my sovereignty, my power and my own solitude. And now, May I fear no more. May we fear no more.
And so it is. And so shall it be. ✨

If something is shifting where you may begin to experience the world in all its love and joy and sorrow and grief, beyond the confines of how society has programmed you to experience it… it’s okay… there is no need to pretend anymore… we can allow ourselves to See….

I recently came across these thoughts I wrote years ago, while still living under the pressure to tailor my experience to fit the template of what I perceived was acceptable for the society I lived in.💜💜💜

“ Sometimes I feel the need to see the world the way I think everyone else does… meaning, everyone has this sense of the world being “normal”, the wonders of this world are just looked at as something normal. But sometimes I slip out of this jaded perspective and nothing seems normal and everything seems extraordinary. The very laws of physics start to amaze me, and it makes me anxious. Some may call that sensory overload. I’ve spent years trying to keep my mind from slipping into this zone, but sometimes I wonder; with the ongoing work of staying grounded… Is it somewhat ok to see every aspect of this world as utterly astounding? Is that where creativity lies in the first place? I just wish it felt more comfortable, but maybe it will if I just come to a certain place of no longer trying to see the world from the eyes of others, living from the good of my own heart and trusting that I am exactly where I need to be.”

It is ok to experience the Great Power that lives inside of your body and what it truly means to hold that energy with humility, grace, dignity and Great Love.

It is ok if you choose to be discerning with the energies you give the privilege of access to your expression of divine sexuality. Not from a place of rigidity, fear, repression or even necessarily self protection- but from a place of understanding, deep joy, grounded lightheartedness and immeasurable Self-reverence.

Know that you are tenderly held, greatly respected and honored if your life circumstances have ever been such where that divine choice was taken from you. Know that you too are still and always will be, sacred.

It is ok to experience yourself as the Goddess. It is ok to experience your body as Her Home.
