As one of only two Master of Accounting (MAcc) programs in Western Canada, the University of Alberta is excited to share information about the program and how it can help you reach your career goals of becoming a CPA! This program represents a fantastic opportunity to gain your Master's degree at a top 3 Business School in Canada (Maclean's 2020 Rankings).

Attending a MAcc Information Session will allow you to learn more about the program and how you can study on campus with top professors that represent all three legacy accounting bodies! At this session, you will receive an overview of the program, tips and tricks for admission, and valuable in-person responses and feedback to your questions from a member of the Admissions Committee.

KPMG invites you to join their campus program called KPMG Ideation Challenge. This event is open for both business and STEM students enrolled in a Canadian University. The challenge provides a workshop so no prior experience or knowledge is necessary.
This challenge is an excellent way for students to further develop technical and analytical skills as well as the networking opportunity to meet with KPMG professionals. It is a great stepping stone in CPA and non-CPA recruitment with their firm.

Application deadline for Vancouver competition: January 12th, 11:59pm PST

Local selection event: January 21st or 22nd (students only need to attend one session)

Local competition: January 31st and February 1st

National competition: February 24 and 25 (the local winner will travel, all expenses paid to Toronto to compete)
