A Kid Like Aundon

We were in New York last week and got a chance to take Aundon to the 9/11 Memorial. It is so important to take our children to places and moments that impact our lives forever. Sharing with him helps us remember...

I just want to take this Christmas morning to express what matters most. It is in the fullness of my hear that I want to share a glimpse of the joy that we felt as Aundon participated in the Victory Bible Church Christmas Experience by directing the choir in a song. If you know Aundon than you know the miracle of what it means for him to be himself. In this world there aren't many places that will "Make Room" for you when you don't fit the status quo but I thank God for places like VBC, our community, our village, our family and our friends that allow Aundon to be fully expressed in an unapologetic way. Thank you Jonathan DeCuir for being obedient and inspired. Thank you Milton M. White Sr. for all of the encouragement and covering when things were tough. Thank you to the world's best choir for loving on Aundon at every rehearsal. Thank you for those that came to support him that night so that he could feel the undeniable energy and anointing that night.

I couldn't watch our own story without getting emotional for the journey made but I know that there is much more road to travel.
