Extremely elated to see Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) councils taking a strong position on a macro policy debate, such as the anti-terrorism bill, on the premise that they recognize it as a threat to their democratic rights.
It is not common that SKs take such an explicitly progressive position on a national policy eloquently articulating the implications of the policy on their rights and duties as youth leaders.
This is a clear signal that the “hope of the motherland” remains so and that the resistance continues...
