Title: CLOSING THE BOOK 2019.

_"And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him"_ Luke 4:20

CHARGE.
¶ Today marks three ends:
- The end of a Decade.
- The end of the last month of the year.
- The end of the year 2019 itself.

It's time to close the books. This year is a book with several pages, chapters and verses. These are occurrences and experiences. To some, it has been a great year. To some it is one of their worst and bumpy years, while to some others, it is just a normal year. What ever the case the year has brought before you, it's time to close the book. If the Decade, months and year are closing why dragging with it?

¶ Until you close a book, you don't open another book. To open a new page, and chapter you must close the previous ones. Until you let go of things you are going through, you will not go. Whatever is not allowing you to go, let it go! Jesus closed the book. It's time we closed the book of failure and disappointments.

¶ The way you see the year will determine your response and attitude to it. As a child of God, we are not moved by, what we see or hear, we are moved by faith in the word of God. Let me draw your attention to how the year ends in the sight of God.

Psalm 65:11 _"Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness"_

¶ GOD crowns the year with His goodness. Your experiences cannot stop what God is doing. Fatness here refers to His blessings. I want you to shift your attention to what God is doing, stop focusing on what the devil is doing. As you end this year, goodness, mercies, and His blessings will be your crown. It is not over until you win.

¶ GOD said in His word:. _"Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert"_ Isaiah 43:18-19

¶ As you step into 2020, I decree GOD will do a new thing in your life!
