Yes - 2023 - oh my f*** god.
They say - 2023 was to suffer and to learn.
I did! I promise you.

So 2024 is going to be the time to implement what I have learnt.

I am ready.

I am ready to embrace my new freedom that I faught for. It is so so close - I can feel it in my soul, my heart and in my veins.

I promise myself:
To respect and appreciate myself
To love myself
To be proud of what I have achieved
To celebrate life (ok, this I anyway do all the time)
To only let people into my life who truly and honestly care.
To just be
To dance alot
To sing more than ever
To keep growing and learning
To learn all about my triggers to be emotionally stronger than ever

If you had told me three years ago, that I had to learn to move, to rebuild my body awareness, to find my confidence in myself again - I would probably have said - pffff definitely not me!

well - it happened.

paralyzed, impossible to move, sitting for 3 seconds was the greatest possible exhaustion.
I needed almost 10 attempts to stand 8 seconds at the standing table - imagine, they had attach me so I would not fall. 8 seconds were really really long soon 2 years ago.

If you had said a year ago, that I would start loving my body again - more than ever before.
That I would appreciate and respect every new movement.
that one day I will once again trudge step by step into my future with my head held high
- I would have said that with a sad look - suddenly I'm not sure.

It's a pity that "it" had to happen - this fate.

I'm not ready to say "thank you" yet - thank you for "it" to happen.

However, today I know that the day will come when I will say this.

For now I'm just happy with myself. it is a good feeling.

I keep believing, I keep pushing and I start appreciating myself for not giving up
