Why film your big lifts? FORM … it’s not just for the gram ya’ll. Here’s a quick example of some extra sloppy technical points while working up to a 1 rep max on deadlift. Hips were high, shoulders could be locked better, feet should be planted through the heels, more lat engagement etc. - overall pretty raw. However, now I know what adjustments need to be made before adding anymore weight. It may not look super technical, but deadlifts can be extremely compromising if you’re not careful. Be safe. #StruggleBus Sessions - When you go to hit the gas ⛽️ but you’re runnin on fumes 💨. Happens to the best of us and when it does, cuz it will - listen to your body and plan your recovery like you plan your best #workouts. Stay #healthy, keep progressing.

Getting anxious about the @charlevoixmarathon (half this year). I have big #expectations and #training has been going well, but the nerves always creep in when #race day gets close. Have I trained enough? Did I take too many “rest” days? Today I just had to push all that #noise out and put the #hammer down. 🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨🤘🏼 🔨5.5 miles EZ 🔨10 x 100m Hill Sprints

Standard push-ups getting a little stale? Slap on your slipperiest socks and add these knee tucks. You can vary it up with single leg tucks for a greater #stability challenge. If you own #TRX straps the elevation will challenge your chest and shoulder #endurance in addition to the #abdominal burn. As a #runner upper body mass is hard for me to keep up, so I try to do at least 100 push-ups everyday.
