Students receive one (1) free ticket to all games with C-N ID. Must show ID at the door.

C-N Athletics hosted the inaugural Race for Breast Cancer Awareness 5K- In Memory of Christy Bowlin over the weekend. Over 100 runners and walkers joined to celebrate a special lady who meant so much to so many.💗

Carson-Newman University’s “Race for Breast Cancer Awareness - in Memory of Christy Bowlin” is this Saturday, October 15, 2022 with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. 💗🏃

Registration will remain open until race day! Adults are $30 and students/18 and younger are $15 with code “students”.

Kick-off at 1:30 p.m.

We are a hosting a pregame tailgate in the lower parking lot next to the Indoor Practice Facility starting at 11 a.m. Food & drinks will be provided for all guests!

This weekend, Carson-Newman Athletics welcomed back over 100 football student-athlete alumni from a Decade of Excellence, 1980-1989. C-N Football made it worth their while today as they upset undefeated, #7 ranked SAC conference foe Newberry, 24-14!

Legendary Coach Ken Sparks would ask, “How’s your heart?” It was evident this weekend that these alumni’s hearts were full of love for one another just like 35+ years ago as they helped put Carson-Newman on the map. 🦅

C-N Athletics and the Eagle Club hosted alumni of the Coach Dal Shealy Era (1970-1973) over the weekend. This included the 50th Anniversary of the 1972 NAIA national championship runner-up. The love and camaraderie amongst these men still lives on.

We are excited to announce the RAISING SPIRITS AGAINST BREAST CANCER - IN MEMORY OF CHRISTY BOWLIN 5K RUN/WALK 💗🏃🏃‍♀️

Christy Yonz Bowlin was the cheer & dance coach at Carson-Newman University from 2007-2021. She loved her athletes and loved coaching at Carson-Newman University. Her athletes became part of her family – she prayed for them, encouraged them, mentored them, and cared for each of them more than anyone would ever know.

We plan on honoring Christy’s beautiful spirit on October 15, 2022. The run/walk will begin at 9 am. The route will give you a glimpse of our beautiful campus and town.
