Shirley Bryant is retired as a HR professional after 34 successful years in Corporate America.
Shirley’s keen eye for talent combined with an acute discernment for impeccable character, innovative creativity, a strong work ethic established a proven track record for hiring the best young and experienced professionals, building and maintaining meaningful relationships and mentoring those who could benefit from her life experiences.
Not only meeting but exceeding her goals in her corporate career, Shirley decided it was time to nurture and pursue her true passion, which she had put on hold for far too long. She embarked on a career in entertainment, tenaciously pursuing each role, from stage to set, with the same tenacity and intensity that she applied to all her endeavors. It was intimidating at first, but she has turned that deferred dream into an amazing new career. After only a little more than two years in the business, Shirley stays booked and busy, from acting to modeling to comedy, booking more than 35 movies with credits in IMDb (internet movie database) , including BET’s “Dear Best Friend,” three documentaries, national, international, and web television and commercials, print and runway modeling, and most recently, a stage play, “The Battered, The Broken and The Bruised,” playing the role of “Miss Jackie.”
In addition to introducing her comic alter ego “Sista Louise” on social media to rave reviews, Shirley launched a small business “YesIndeed Lifestyles.” Her brand inspires a lifestyle of relentless determination, discovery and radical faith, designed to empower generations of dreamers, entrepreneurs and those individuals who are seeking their next place of purpose. Her motto: This “Yes Indeed” lifestyle has taught me to reach for my goals; not only through prayer but also through proclamation and pursuit. When you hear or see “Yes Indeed,” understand that “No” is not an option, and that your next move is around the corner.
She holds a Master of Science - Human Resources, is an avid jogger, music aficionado and loves working with youth.

Kandra is a literary coach with more than 15 years of professional writing experience. Her passion for writing started her sophomore year of high school when she enrolled in a journalism class. From there, she began writing for her high school newspaper and working on the yearbook committee.
Kandra’s professional experience includes working as a news reporter, television news producer and a supervisor of external communications with an emphasis on speech writing for chief executive officers. Additionally, her experience includes marketing, communications, and public relations.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of North Florida and a master’s degree in mass communication from the University of Florida [thanks to the generosity of the Tom Joyner Morning Show]. She earned a Ph.D. in ministerial education from Truth Bible University in ministerial education and leadership.
