During Hispanic Heritage Month Task Force Spartan would like to recognize its service members that have chosen to serve the United States of America.

Master Sgt. Santo Villar serves as the G36 Protection Provost Marshal Noncommissioned Officer in Charge for Task Force Spartan. Back home he serves the residents of New York City as a member of the NYPD. "I joined the military to serve my
Country and learn a new skill while getting experience for a civilian career at the same time."

As Deputy of Future Operations for the 42nd Infantry Division and Task Force Spartan, Capt. Eric Jonathan Leon synchronizes
warfighting functions, develops options for the commanding general and operationalizes plans for Task Force Spartan.

In his civilian career, he is a small business owner and a New York City Firefighter.

"I joined the New York Army National Guard with the dual interests of responding to natural disasters and chasing adventures abroad," Leon. Rainbow! Never Forget!

Hi Ops company Family! So now that we are gearing towards redeployment, we are at our mail cut off date. Please refrain from sending anymore care packages or boxes to your Soldiers. They are all preparing to rejoin you all back in the states!!

We can’t guarantee that any packages sent after this week will get to your Soldiers.

Sergeant First Class Peeney, who serves as the Non-Commissioned Officer in charge of Task Force Spartan's Safety Office, received a challenge coin for his hard work.

The Safety Office is tasked with ensuring all proper safety measures are being followed by all service members, civilians, and contractors.

Hey everyone! As most of you know we are overseas with the Army for the next little bit. Our battalion is hosting PRIDE events and the big one is a photo montage. Our very own SSG Ross and CPT Alvarez put this together so If you would like to be a part of it just take a picture with a Future is sign similar to the second picture, fill out what the future is to you and email it to the email on the flyer in the first picture. The photos will be put together on a photo montage at the end of the month! HAPPY PRIDE!
