Paige Bueckers returns to play after 584 days of being out due to an ACL tear in August 2022. When asked what the most significant thing she learned about herself during her recovery, she said,

"I would say growing in my faith,” she answered. “Just being able to look at [my injury] not as an obstacle but just a wave of adversity — just something that I can get through. And God, He didn’t promise that there wouldn’t be obstacles, but He did promise that He would be there every step of the way.”

The light of the world has come. Jesus has gone before us and made a way for us to experience joy and the abundant life in Him. This doesn’t mean we won’t experience moments of darkness or setbacks… but it does mean that we have HOPE when we do. The darkness is not where we stay. As a coach or athlete, it’s essential to recognize the light that you have when you’re living and walking with Jesus. Your teammates, players and coaches see a difference in the ways you choose to live and lead yourself and others. Be the influence for someone to see more of Jesus today.
