How cute is this top I whipped up for GB last night. Who else hates basting and gathering 🙋‍♀️? It’s getting a bit cold for this top but how cute will it look when it’s layered!

Last night I was seeing and my son asked to help. I agreed and I thought this would be a good time to talk about what we were making and why etc. I’m pretty open to these kinds of conversations.

What I found so beautiful was how my son reacted. He asked if I was okay and we chatted about periods and why they’re important etc.

He then pressed the pedal and helped me to sew.

I think teaching our boys about periods is so important. What do you think?

Also… who uses cloth pads? I use cloth nappies with miss GB so I figured why not!!
