Lazy pack. Ramona always keeps watch. She’s faster than you think when she hears a sound. Or when there’s food falling down.

The love

I did not get a picture because I was carrying Juju who ran too much and was having a hard time breathing. Back to the story. As I was walking with Juju in my arms and the two Danes slightly ahead, this bear came out of nowhere. Both Danes chased it. I had Juju and couldn’t let her down, so I grabbed my two e-collar remotes to call the Danes back. They kept going back and forth between me and the bear. I don’t think they got to it, but they definitely thought it was a fun thing to do. Good thing Juju was in my arms or she would have chased it for miles. Bear spray was in my car, of course. Poor bear was the most scared of us all.

My girls got tested for cardiac, thyroid and patella. Bulldogs will do further tests in the coming year. Next one: eyes. Breeding is a about testing and improving lines. Looking for suitable bulldog studs! 🏆

To all our followers, thank you for visiting and keeping in touch. We are committed to producing healthy lines, and that requires time, health tests, and a sh*tload of paperwork. But our focus is health and standards. For both Danes and Bulldogs. Within the next year we expect Danes and Bulldog pups. 🙈

Is that the ice cream truck?

Juju (Juliette), the Frenchie and mother of the pack. She was such a brat as a pup that I had her spayed, thinking the world could only handle one Juju. She turned out to be a great dog. Not perfect…. but great. The reset button on top of her head is not functioning properly, so Juju only behaves well about 75% of times. We can live with that!
