🌲 Aiding in Access to Nature
👩⚕️ Guided by Two Occupational Therapists
We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to collaborate with our alma mater, CSU’s Occupational Therapy Department, on this incredible project! 🎉
Not only did this partnership allow us to fill a crucial need in our private practice, but it also provided an invaluable learning opportunity for the students involved. Through this project, they gained firsthand experience and insights into starting their own private practice. We were immensely grateful for the resources and knowledge these talented CSU OT students brought to the table.
It was an honor to collaborate with our alma mater, creating a powerful connection that propelled us all forward. ☀️🦋 Thank you CSU OT for believing in our mission and vision at Peaks & Bounds!
Now you see me, now you don’t! 💫
Let’s talk about heavy work activities like pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects OR building an absolute epic bunker. Not only can they be a great form of exercise but they also provide important proprioceptive input at the joints and muscles, helping us become more aware of our body’s position in space. For us and many of our clients, proprioceptive input is incredibly calming and beneficial. 😌
We can not contain our excitement of watching this creative project grow in size! 🌱📐
Did you know that our co-founder Emily Tull, MSOT, OTR/L, EP-C is secretary for Colorado’s Occupational Therapy State Association? 🌿 This weekend, she attended OTAC’s annual conference and had an amazing time!
Emily got the opportunity to connect with fellow nature-based occupational therapist .path.ot (located in CO springs!), collaborate with other OTs, and spread awareness about our nature-based practices within Colorado. 🌱
Conferences like these are essential for staying up-to-date on the latest treatment interventions, diverse affirming approaches, and ways to support families, all to better serve our incredible clients. 🙌
We’re thrilled that Emily also shared exciting news about Peaks and Bounds’ upcoming initiatives and events. Stay tuned for all the exciting things to come! 💫

Home | Peaks Bounds Inspired by personal outdoor pursuits, past professional experience, and emerging research on nature-based occupational therapy practice, we developed Peaks and Bounds. At Peaks and Bounds, we aim to provide opportunities for all individuals to experience nature in a supported and therapeutic manner...
A DREAM COMING TRUE!
Hi everyone! First and foremost thank you for taking the time to connect with our page.
🏔 Peaks & Bounds has been a dream for us two, Emily & Emily, for quite some time now. So let’s dive in!
🌲 Peaks & Bounds is a budding therapeutic nature business offering a wide variety of outdoor/nature programs guided by two nature-based occupational therapists. The first program we are putting our efforts into are our pediatric nature camps coming Summer of 2023. Stay tuned for more information!
🛶 The goal is to get our camps up and running, and then begin our other offerings of guided hikes 1:1 or group, occupational therapy coaching, outdoor social groups, supported nature activities/recreation!
🏕 The amount of outdoor camps and programs that cater to all neurotypes, abilities, identities, and for all ages across the lifespan are hard to find! We want to help change that here in Colorado and encourage others around our country and world to do the same.
🧠 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practices are core to our practice. We strive to run a neurodiverse and identity affirming business. All are welcome, respected, and have space to be heard.
👩⚕️ Oh yeah! Who are we? Most classically known as Emily & Emily! We are two occupational therapists who met during our Occupational Therapy Master’s Program at Colorado State University. We love calling Fort Collins home and are happy to serve our community here in Fort Collins. Both of us have experience working with pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults! We have experience working in nature-based settings both recreationally and therapeutically.
🌈 We are looking forward to all to come and deeply appreciate your support!
📧 Please do not hesitate to comment, DM, or email with any questions!
With gratitude,
Emily & Emily ❤️

It still doesn’t feel real, BUT I can finally say I’m an Occupational Therapist! I found out this morning I passed my NBCOT! Emily Tull, MSOT, OTR, EP-C ✨
What a pleasure! I am grateful to be elected to The OT Association of Colorado’s Executive Board! I will be serving as Secretary for the next two years! Thank you for this opportunity
It was a pleasure to share my research on how an outdoor occupational therapy camp can impact behavioral regulation and praxis in children and then connect how these findings can be relevant to OT practitioners everyday practice! We are getting the ball rolling on turning this into a published manuscript. AND “hot off the press!” research on this same exact camp with the same cohort of participants was released last week (Stackhouse et. al, 2022) that found significant COPM findings from camp! Check it out in ‘s bio!
It was so great to connect with fellow OT practitioners! & thank you .ed for sharing a recorded version of my presentation for OTs to gain continuing education credits!
