In 2015, the “light study” project was born in this exact moment in the video. Unsure of how this will all pan out I couldn’t give up something so rare and unique approach to abstract art based on our current reality. 200 years ago light looked nothing like today and that day had its masters.

500 years from now Light Pollution will hopefully be solved at scale so we can all see the stars on a clear night sky. That was something that connected every living being on the plant and that has rapidly disappeared. This Project document’s todays light in The Bronx.

It took Seven years of Layering and waiting for the oil paintings to dry then repeat that process until completion . It was worth it the colors are Bold!

Now with the Heptobokeh Etsy store we also have a venue to share some limited edition digital work that will switch out as well as Holiday collectibles.

It feels great that HeptoBokeh finally came into it’s own voice visually.
By deconstructing light, rearranging patterns and colors this created a time capsule of contemporary abstract art based on the idea of archiving light pollution in NYC. There is allot to this concept we will be making lots of video content to share.
