Good evening.
I first want to thank all of you for your showing your constant love and support for Clementon Amusement Park. You are all terrific. I first started this page and our change.org petition as an attempt to follow in the footsteps of all the people who worked hard last year to save their local amusement park, Indiana Beach in Monticello, Indiana. I was hoping that this effort could potentially lure in a buyer who would have the strength and passion to purchase and reopen Clementon Amusement Park and once again make it the great traditional park it once was.
After a week of sharing posts, advertising, and trying to gain support, I ran into Melvin Brown who he and his company Fresh Development LLC was wanting to purchase and reopen the park. We exchanged messages back and forth and talked of how great the park could be again and the improvements that could be made if he was successful in buying the park. Days later, he gracefully join our page as Co-Admin and I couldn't be happier. From then on, our support just doubled or tripled in size as he worked hard to find investors to come in and invest their money into purchasing and improving the park. He worked so hard and he deserves a round of applause.
So it all came down to today. The day the park would be auctioned off. Unfortunately Fresh Development's bid was not accepted and came in 2nd. If some investors hadn't left at the last second, maybe we would have had a better chance. It is very sad that our efforts weren't successful. But we should also be very happy. Not just because of how hard we fought, but because the buyer who had the highest bid is planning to reopen the park. We cannot be more grateful. Despite our loss, the historic Clementon Amusement Park which has been a landmark of Clementon since 1907 still has a chance of redemption and a brighter future. If the owner stays true to his word and plans to reopen the park, I am more than willing to join his efforts and help him in any way that I personally can to help make the park better and I know our Melvin Brown wants to do just the same. With this failure comes success. Clementon Amusement Park has been saved and will hopefully provide another 100 years of family fun and memories. Thank you so much for your support. Long live Clementon Amusement Park!

Clementon Park Update:

First and Foremost, I want thank everyone for their prayers and support! To all the investors that invested their funds with us, thank you so much for believing in the vision and investing with Fresh Development LLC.

Unfortunately, The Fresh Development team was unable to win the bid for the park. We had a couple of main partners back out at the last minute(yesterday), which effected our overall bid. Normally, it takes about 6+ months to raise to the capital needed for a project of this size, but TIME wasn’t on our side. With that being said, I’m truly blessed that we raised about 500k from our grass root investors over the last 24 days. That’s major!!! I will be reaching out to each one of you personally, to talk about your options.

Moreover, I’m 💯 committed to making investment opportunities more accessible for everyone and closing the wealth gap through ownership and asset management. We will continue building a great community of investors that will come together to take action. We will learn from this situation and move forward with other opportunities.

In closing, I also was informed that the new owners will be keeping the park as an Amusement Park.

Stay tuned... Greater is coming! We are just getting started!

My name is Melvin Brown. The Managing Partner at Fresh Development LLC. My team and I are currently in the process trying to acquire and reopen the historic Clementon Amusement Park, which is located in Clementon, NJ. This family-friendly park has been apart of the South Jersey community for over 114 years and gave millions of guests and local residents the opportunity to cool off in the hot summer sun and allow family and friends to create life long memories over the years.

I personally had the opportunity to work at Clementon Amusement Park back when I was a teenager and to be honest with you all, it was one of the best jobs I ever had. Clementon Amusement Park has a lot of potential and the Fresh Development team strongly believes with new management, creative strategies and with the proper investment, we can restore the park back to it’s glory day.

South Jersey investor group plans to bid at auction with the hope of restoring Clementon Park 13/03/2021

At this time, there is a little bit of hope for our Clementon Amusement Park. There is one investor that has stepped forward and joined the race who wants to reopen our park. We can't hold our breaths as there are several other parties that are planning to bid who likely plan to destroy the park. We believe that Melvin Brown of Fresh Development LLC could be the savior of our park and can bring it back to the profitable business that is was many years ago. We wish to join his efforts in any way that we are able to and he push for him to be the highest bidder and get our historic park up and running once again for future generations! https://www.inquirer.com/business/clementon-park-splash-rides-roller-coasters-auction-norfolk-state-20210312.html?fbclid=IwAR0aVxo20TtdjDP5b9Q0rHCfxGCAxIjcr38x-5zNqmgOp-dAQP-z-UCcOgE
