How lucky are we. We were asked to come to Champlain Gardens Retirement home and what a lovely visit it was.

We were met by so many smiles and we absolutely love hearing the stories from those who grew up on a farm, the horses they had in their lives and the memories that have always stayed within their hearts.

Kevin had a blast, was gifted with the biggest carrot and a lovely gentleman gave him some peanut butter cookies that he absolutely devoured when on the way to the trailer to come back home 🤣💕

We are so blessed in this community. We absolutely adore our visits with the Manor, and are now so happy we can also share them with Champlain Gardens. Thank you so much 💕

We had some absolutely amazing visitors this morning 💕 I loved hearing stories about knowing this farm from way back when, loving what we’ve done in the 4 years we’ve been here and watching them just enjoy their view overlooking some of the horses. Kevin also snuck in a visit with his favourite people 💕

One of the residents told the staff members while getting back into the van “ when you aren’t looking I’ll run and hide so I can stay here with the horses” 🥹🤣💕

Our first Ladies' Night was a roaring success! We had a fantastic time with a group of incredible women, and the horses thoroughly enjoyed their partners!

Big thank you to my helpers Steph and Connie for assisting handing out clothes pegs and taking care of some code browns 😉 💩!!

The feedback was fantastic and we are beyond excited to be hosting another ladies night very soon!!!!

A memorable evening on the farm! The insane heat has made riding impossible this week. So instead, a few of our Thursday riders participated in their first ever Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) session.

We witnessed extraordinary growth and teamwork as they navigated through various exercises and communication skills! I am eager to host more EAL sessions and share the transformative power of horses with our local community! Stay tuned!! 🤫

We all began our journey into the equine world as young girls and boys who were captivated by the allure of these non judgemental and kind animals, even if it was further down the road for some when we discovered this passion in our lives.

Never allow superficial aspects such as jumping ability, clothing brands, lavish facilities, or personal skill level to obstruct another individual's love for this sport and the animals. Kindness is a valuable asset in this world, and unfortunately, it is becoming increasingly scarce. Remember, displaying kindness does not come with a price tag 💕

Wouldn’t have it any other way 💕

What have I been up to the last little bit…

Well…

I am beyond excited to announce that I am now a Certified EAL facilitator!!!

My passion for horses has been lifelong, and I’ve always enjoyed being able to share this with many others through our horsemanship and riding programs. Now, I will be able to share these amazing animals with even more people throughout our community in a new and life changing way!

Big thank you to Tracey and Jenn from Dreamwinds Stables for not only being amazing teachers, but for truly having our backs through this process. Your kindness and encouragement made this whole journey nothing but fun and inspiring!

Thank you to Cyndi of absolute equestrian for being a wonderful host, and congratulations to both Cyndi and Fran as well for also graduating and becoming EAL Facilitators!! The last few days has been a blast with you ladies and I’m wishing you nothing but success in your new journey!!

So excited to bring this program into our farm!!! Stay tuned!!!
