The Gawad Parangal will be rescheduled on a later date, due to unexpected reasons faced by the Gawad Parangal Special Committee.

Rest assured the later date will be announced soon as it is confirmed. The current nominees are still nominated and do not need to be re-nominated.

Also, the nominations will be opened again for New Nominees.

The degree to which you serve as a leader will determine how effective you are as a leader. In The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, John Maxwell teaches servant leadership inside his Law of Addition: “The best place for a leader isn’t always the top position. It isn’t the most prominent or powerful place. It’s the place where he or she can serve the best and add the most value to other people.”

Many of the leaders who have accomplished great things and showed noteworthy fortitude and honorable virtues are given proper recognition, while others who are as deserving go unacknowledged. Those who have made major contributions to the welfare of others should be sought after, and once discovered, they should be honored as the champions they really are.

And to give recognition to our ever-hardworking student leaders, student advisers, and School Organizations, the Supreme Student Council and Committee on Good Governance proudly presents our 1st ever Student Organization Gawad Parangal with the theme “Recognizing Dedication, Blazing the Fire of Servant Leadership” this coming February 10, 2023, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the School Auditorium.

Let us all motivate the younger generation to make significant contributions to the growth and development of the nation by way of outstanding academic achievement, transformative social engagement, innovative leadership services, strengthening student representation, youth representation, and championing students' rights and welfare rendered to their respective institutions, local communities, and the nation as a whole.

Muli na naman nating matutunghayaan sa ikatlong taon ang proyektong nagbibigay ng pag-asa, ngiti, at saya sa bawat bata. Ngunit alam mo bang hindi lang bata ang ating binibigyan ng pag-asa? Nagbibigay rin tayo ng ngiti at saya sa bawat piling pamilya sa darating na kapaskuhan.

Sa ika-19 at 20 ng Disyembre 2022 ay muli tayong magbabahagi ng pag-asa sa mga bata at iilang pamilya na nakatira sa Sitio Karahume, Barangay San Isidro.

Kung kaya'y narito kami upang kumatok sa inyong mga puso at humingi ng tulong para maisakatuparan ang adhikaing ito. Malugod po naming tinatanggap ang donasyon sa halagangag piso dahil kapag ipinagsama-sama ito ay marami ang maaabot na pamilya na ating mapapasaya sa ngayong Pasko.

THURSDAY — November 10, 2022, the City College of San Jose Del Monte Board of Trustees held its regular meeting and welcomed the Student Council President Hon. Elizabeth Maranao II, as the 1st Student Trustee of the Institution.

Dr. Dennis M. Booth the Alternate to the Chairperson of the CCSJDM Board of Trustees and City Administrator stated his manifestation and hopes for the student representation of the Institution.

'𝘔𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘱𝘪𝘵 𝘯𝘢 𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘰 𝘴𝘢 𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘨𝘢 𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦, 𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪 𝘯𝘢 𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘱𝘢 𝘥𝘢𝘩𝘪𝘭 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘦 𝘯𝘢 𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘰.' Dr. Booth stated with great hope.

The role of the Student Trustee as the sole representative to the highest governing body of City College of San Jose del Monte culminates the hardship of the past administrations of the Student Council in establishing true and genuine student representation to the administration. Furthermore, this milestone also culminates the mandate according to the 2022 Constitution and By-Laws of the Supreme Student Council, which states:

One of our City Collegians is a delegate of Multiply-Ed Philippines Division-level and National-level Briefing Orientation Seminar with the different youth-leaders, student-leaders, educators and professionals from different regions in the Philippines. This was held from September 23-25, 2022 at Acacia Hotel Davao, Davao City.

The X-Ed DLNL BOS aims to improve transparency, participation, and accountability in the procurement and budget process for education. X-Ed is a joint project of the Center for Youth Advocacy and Networking (CYAN) and G-Watch (Government Watch) that aims to set up a youth-led, multi-sectoral, and multi-level monitoring of education during and post pandemic.

He will be part of the National Social Accountability Team in monitoring the education budget on the National Level.
