Help Get Mary to Spain for Chiari Surgery

Here is an update on how Mary is doing post-surgery.❤️

"I've started easing back into yoga to strengthen my body. I've also started swimming, which is a new adventure for me. I have energy and strength to take care of my kids every day. Lizzy calls me her new mom about 3 times a week. I'm feeling so well, I've signed up for classes to finish my bachelor's degree. I've only had 2 seizures since the surgery and they were back to back. I was having multiple seizures daily before. Every month, I'm noticably stronger and more healthy."

We are so very grateful the the immense amount of love, generosity, and concern shown to not only Mary, but our whole family. We will continue to post updates every few months. The doctors told her that she will continue to see improvements over the next 7 years as her brain is able to ascend back into her skull. Thank you all so much and Merry Christmas ❤️

5 days till Mary's surgery!
We had our family reunion in Yellowstone a few weeks ago and couldn't let Mary miss out on all the awesome views, so all the men took turns pushing her in a wheelchair. Mary usually gets along with just her cane but on bad days or when it's a long distance she has to use a wheelchair. Yellowstone was amazing and let us borrow the chair for free for the afternoon so we could walk around all the hotpots and geysers behind Old Faithful.
Thanks to all the support, prayers, and donations on Mary's behalf, next time she goes to Yellowstone it will be on her own two feet!

The fund raiser garage sale for Mary is tomorrow morning from 9am to pm at 4796 S 4300 W Roy, Utah. It's the corner East of Rocky Mountain Jr. High. Audrey is making fresh chocolate chip cookies to sell for $1 each, come help support a good cause!

My sister Mary has Chiari, a debilitating brain condition where the brain is literally being squeezed out of her skull. She had brain surgery 6 years ago to try and relieve pressure and manage her symptoms. She has been slowly getting worse over the last few years and is now functioning less than before the surgery, she is passing out multiple times a week and some days can not walk as most of her body is slowly going numb. She found a clinic in Spain that does a different procedure, a procedure that might actually cure her. This clinic is the only place in the world that does the surgery and she is going this September to have it done. The surgery is very expensive and insurance will not cover any of it.

We are holding a garage sale and service auction to help raise money on August 10, 2019, in West Haven Utah. Please reach out to me if you would like to donate and/or participate.
