Neck pain is a very common complaint, most commonly it is due to the improper posture during sleep that causes the tightness of upper trapezius muscles. It is mostly on one side of the neck. I made this video to show that how can you stretch neck muscles to release them. You can do these exercises 2 to 3 times a day.
1. Side bending of neck with the pressure of one hand for 20 to 30 seconds on each side.
2. Side rotation of neck with the pressure of the hand hold it for 20 to 30 seconds.
3. Neck forward bending or neck flexion hold it for 20 to 30 seconds.
4. Chin tuck for neck extensor strength for 20 to 30 seconds.
5. Neck rotation in a circle 10 reps on each side.
6. Shoulder forward and backward movement for 10 reps in each direction
7. Shoulder shrug 10 reps with 3 sets.
