Theme of this book, IMO, centres around fulfillment… where do we find it; is through things on earth or through God and His word? 🤔
If you want to have a deeper understanding of God and his word, get a study bible. When we take time to reflect on what we’ve read, we grow closer to God in understanding who he is. 👍🏾

Some people think that because they went through unnecessary difficulties and challenges, that those coming behind them should go through the same. This is actually distorted thinking and they completely miss the point. I see this so often in parenting and especially in business. It’s not your responsibility to pick and choose what others experience. To do otherwise is selfish.
Whenever we go through challenges, it’s an opportunity to share with others… “look what I went through so you don’t have to!” The point is to create a better environment… a better experience… not perpetuate the SAME ONE! As I mentioned in a previous post, I said give more, share more, love more… not to the ones who trespass against you, but to others. Be what’s better!
Never turn cold in the face of abandonment or neglect. This may sound counterproductive… take that pain and turn it into an opportunity to love more… to care more! Hurt people hurt people. Let them wrestle with their own darkness… don’t become consumed by it. TRUST ME… I know how this feels! Stooping down to their level does nothing other than increase your pain. * RISE ABOVE IT *

I completed this awesome book yesterday; I couldn’t put it down. The last time I felt this way is when I read The Alchemist Paulo Coelho. I highly recommend this book as a new year’s read. We can always do “one more” in many areas of our lives and what’s truly magical about that, is we can’t begin to fathom where it will lead us when we put it into practice.
