Twas the week before Christmas
and all through the house
the creatures were scurrying
chasing a fake mouse.
The stockings were flung
in the chimney without care
as the furry little beasts
made the mantle become bare.
This momma with her tissues
and little box of snacks
tried to settle her brain
when then she heard a Crack!
The tree was knocked over
balls rolling across the floor
and she had to fight feelings
of throwing kitties out the door.
But then she heard in her ear
a sweet little sound
the soft purring of kittens
and tiny meuws all around.
And when she heard herself sigh
as she looked around at the sight
Their love filled her heart
and made it merry that night.

Whoop whooop! Oh my goodness ya'll!! I sold another painting at the gallery! And I don't even know which one yet. lol. Ohh but I am so tickled. You don't even know. At a moment of feeling uninspired, I received a notice and in the mail from the gallery. I truly needed that. Wow, so cool! I think I'm feeling a little inspired. I'm doin a dance! 💃🎉🥂🤗🙏
