Fan Photo: T-Rob sent us this photo from a recent bighorn sheep hunt. He took the ram with one shot at 200 yards! I'll post the picture of his target grouping next. This is awesome. I hope to be able to continue this path for myself and my boy as long as he has. This is just great!

I received an amazing story via email from a very proud son and Benelli R1 shooter. Michael and his father are from Louisiana and hunt deer every season. His story is written below.

"I have attached two pictures that say it all about his excitement! My cousin and I both shoot 300 win mags and at the ripe age of 88 (4 years ago) dad decided he wanted one as well. We shopped around looking at Browning and Savage; I pulled the Benelli R1 300 mag off the shelf and he immediately fell in love with your firearm. He is now 92 and yesterday while sitting in his ground blind dad spotted a deer standing in the lane at about 165 paces and fired and killed this nice 8 point buck. The rest is history and as you can see there is no way to wipe the smile off his face! As a son it makes me so proud and very lucky to still have dad around and still very active. He has 20/20 vision, walks a mile on his treadmill every morning, still drives his Chevy pickup and rides his Honda 420 four wheeler. Dad is also a World War II army veteran serving in the 29th Infantry from 1939 – 1945 and most of his time was spent in the European conflict. Dad has also hunted for many years and when deer season comes around it’s almost impossible to contain him. This should be an inspiration for everyone that you are never too old!"
