There is something to be grateful for EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
Times are hard right now, it can be a struggle to see the good in each day, but trust me, you'll find it.

A grateful heart is a happy one.

Su***de. No one likes to talk about it but almost everyone will have been affected by it or know someone who has. You may have your own struggles right now, but please know just how much the world needs you around.
Life is bloody hard sometimes, more people than you realise are struggling daily, some are just good at hiding it, but believe me, you aren’t alone. Just give yourself time, a year from now, a month from now, life could be completely different.
Reaching out is the hardest part but do it and you’ll be surprised at just how much love and support can come.
If you can’t manage that right now, maybe writing down your worries and feelings will help, dumping all that stuff that goes round and round in your head onto paper can make you feel so much lighter.
Get outside, get some fresh air, feel the rain on your face, smile at a stranger. You’re ALIVE and you deserve to be!

A stunning stately home wedding venue in Prescot, North West England.

I really enjoyed creating this piece for a 1st wedding anniversary gift.

Did you know that paper represents 1 year of marriage? So a print is the perfect gift ❤

I love the style of Knowsley Hall with its sash windows and brickwork, it reminds me of where I got married myself.

The best part of creating a print like this is seeing your love for drawing come together and knowing that it's a piece of someones story.
This now belongs to a happy couple who will forever be reminded of their special day and I got to be a part of that, which is just amazing to me!

▪︎All in the detail▪︎

I've really enjoyed working on this and seeing it come together. Once the outline is complete, adding details like tiles and bricks really bring a piece to life.
For these bricks I've layered up different tones of grey ✍🏻🧱

▪︎Foliage detail▪︎ As my drawing style is sketchy and imperfect, I use mark making for plants and trees when they are part of a larger piece like this one I'm currently working on. ▪︎Happy Fathers Day▪︎ I shared a glimpse of this a few days ago and I'm delighted that it has been gifted today and I can show you all.

This was the childhood home of the recipient and was gifted as a surprise for Fathers day.
It holds lots of love and fond memories making it incredibly sentimental.
A very special piece that was an absolute honour to create.
