Bamburgh Castle, England.
Bamburgh Castle is a castle on the northeast coast of England, by the village of Bamburgh in Northumberland.
The site was originally the location of a Celtic Brittonic fort known as Din Guarie and may have been the capital of the kingdom of Bernicia from its foundation in c. 420 to 547. After passing between the Britons and the Anglo-Saxons three times, the fort came under Anglo-Saxon control in 590. The fort was destroyed by Vikings in 993, and the Normans later built a new castle on the site, which forms the core of the present one. After a revolt in 1095 supported by the castle's owner, it became the property of the English monarch.
In the 17th century, financial difficulties led to the castle deteriorating, but it was restored by various owners during the 18th and 19th centuries. It was finally bought by the Victorian era industrialist William Armstrong, who completed its restoration. The castle still belongs to the Armstrong family and is open to the public.
The Marble Throne is a 250-year-old royal throne in Golestan Palace, Tehran, Iran.
The throne was built from 1747 to 1751. It was designed by Mirza Baba Shirazi (Naqqash Bashi) and royal stonecutter, Mohammad Ebrahim Esfahani. It consists of 65 marble stone pieces from a mine in Yazd. The throne's supports are carved in the shape of men, women, fairies, and demons.
The Royal Balcony of the Marble Throne is said to be built during the reign of Karim Khan Zand, but Karim khan is known to have even refused the title king, and preferred to sit on a carpet rather than a throne so his ownership of the Marble throne is unlikely. It was changed several times during the Qajar period. The twin stone columns of the balcony were transferred to Tehran, by the order of Agha Mohammad Khan, from Shiraz.

The Baths of Titus were a large complex of public thermal baths located on the slopes of Mount Esquiline, near the Roman Colosseum, in the center of ancient Rome.
This great complex of thermal baths was built by the Emperor Titus, son of Vespasian, who, to appease the unease felt by the Romans over the eruption of the volcano Vesuvius that brought with it the disappearance of the city of Pompeii, and after a fire occurred that devastated several public buildings within the city of , conceived the project to build a vast building for public use for the use and recreation of citizenship.
The place chosen by Emperor Titus for the construction of his baths was on what had once been part of the Domus Aurea (Emperor Nero's golden palace). The construction adapted for public use the grandiose private baths that this building had, expanding through the construction of a monumental structure. Titus, following the example of his father, the emperor Vespasian, who had drained the great artificial lake of the Domus Aurea to build the great Roman Colosseum years before, carried out this work as a gesture of returning to the Roman people the public spaces of which Nero had been misappropriated to build his Golden palace.
For the construction of this thermal complex, different pieces of marble of high value, statues and various ornaments of the Domus Aurea that were used in this project were recovered, since Tito, as well as his father Vespasiano, were always careful not to waste the public money of Rome.
This monumental construction was inaugurated in 80 AD. being one of the oldest examples of of the "imperial" type. Compared to the thermal baths built years before such as the Nero thermal baths or the Agrippa thermal baths, this thermal complex included, in addition to the spacious rooms with large pools of different temperatures, new environments dedicated to public use such as gyms, libraries and places of sale of vintage items.
The front part of the baths was adorned by a large recreation area that had gardens and sculptures all made of marble, this patio was supported by a large three-level construction adorned by arches similar to those found in the Roman Colosseum, for which The hot springs could be accessed through an interior staircase.
This large thermal complex extended over a rectangular area of 125 m x 120 m, and inside it had large rooms with pools of various temperatures, all the walls and floors of the rooms being decorated in fine marble. Years later, the emperor Domitian made some additions to the structure, in addition Trajan and Hadrian in their own governments improved the appearance of this great construction.
The Baths of Titus were in operation even after the fall of the Western Empire (476 AD), being abandoned after the destruction of the aqueducts that supplied this complex with water by the Goths in 537 AD. Since then the sumptuous building became a quarry for the reuse of materials, but still in the 15th century AD. it conserved part of its marble decoration, being years later totally demolished
