Does your logo represent your business? π€
Let's take it back to basics: Your logo is the FIRST thing that potential clients and customers will see of your business.
If your logo doesn't:
β Grab the attention of those people
β Separate you from your competitors
β Help people recognise your business
Then you might find it difficult to attract clients, and therefore make sales π
Your logo should represent your business and all it stands for!
Want to make a bold statement with your business? Stand out from the crowd? And own a brand that is SO outside the box that it's hard to forget?

Introducing new branding ππ€©π
As a digital art business that makes personalised, memorable and unique gifts, Justine wanted her brand to be bright and bold with a touch of friendliness to highlight the personality behind the business π
I had the most fun designing this beautiful new branding and Iβm officially obsessed with this colour palette π
Whatβs your favourite part of this branding? π
don't come for me but...
Unpopular opinion: Seamless carousels over reels π
I just looooove how these look, anyone else?!
And they are so much fun to create, a fab opportunity to show off those design skills π
Also these colours get me in the mood for all things sweet π¬π

As an avid tea drinker and sustainability advocateβ¦
I REALLY enjoyed designing this branding for Teal, a brief by for the Design Battle π
I went for a colour palette that incorporated teal - which brings connotations of revival and nature, and warm peaches - which connotes vitality, energy, playfulness, and encouragement. The combination of these colours represents the refreshing and energising qualities that matcha tea has on the body and mind π
I also incorporated elements of a tea leaf in the logo mark and logotype, as well as in the choice of a sans serif, modern typography.
All the design choices were made around the mission of the business (sustainable) and the target audience (medium-high income millennials).
Canβt wait to see what others did with the design brief π

Can I let you in on a little secret? π
I am feeling SO uninspired right now.
And you know what? That's okay - and it's really normal!!!
Us creatives will experience creative blocks, and it can feel like you're stuck in a rut π£
So how do I get out of them?

Had a go at this past brief by for a sugar-free chewing gum brand, Chumble! π«§π¦π
I manipulated a rounded sans serif typography to make the letters mirror the visuals of a mouth - wide gaps between the stems of the βhβ and βuβ, and the middle of the βbβ and βeββ¦
I also changed the top of the βmβ to mimic the shape of our molars (used to chew!) and the middle of the m to represent the uvula ππ
Another fun brief that I really enjoyed designing!

The secret to improve your brand awareness? ππ
A colour palette that SPEAKS to your target audience π¨
Colours are powerful, they deliver subconscious messages and provoke emotions π
So ask yourself this:
𧑠Do my brand colours align with my brand values?
π What emotions do my brand colours evoke?
π Am I being consistent with my brand colours?
