We are looking for several volunteers to assist with COMMUNITY OUTREACH!

COMMUNITY OUTREACH volunteers will be responsible for reaching out to counselors, social workers, churches, school administrators, and community leaders to grow our referral network.

Referral partners simply identify children in need, collect the necessary information to submit their referral form one month in advance of their birthday (emergency circumstances can be accommodated), commit to delivering the finished boxes,and make an effort to provide feedback from the families on the impact the birthday box had on them. (These short testimonials are the only form of "payment" we ask for and are useful to us as an organization when applying for grants, etc; but are 100% VOLUNTARY and in no way required.)

We wrapped up 2020 by completing the 24 Box Donation for Frisco Food Pantry we began working on prior to the second wave of COVID-19 hit Dallas! Thank you for all of our volunteers and donors time and patience as we completed this project as safely as possible and a special thank you to Goliath for donating all of the gifts to fill each box!

As a reminder, each box includes the following supplies and will allow parents/caregivers to throw a very special birthday party for their child:

The Amazon boxes are starting to arrive, and we cant wait for our packing party and delivery day!!!

We are just a few supplies short from completing our 24 box donation and need your help!!

We are excited to announce that we have partnered with the Frisco Food Pantry and will be donating TWENTY-FOUR BOXES containing a cupcake pan and liners, cake mix, frosting, candles, party-ware, gift wrap, a birthday card, decorations, and a gender neutral game later this month! We estimate the cost of all boxes to be $500. Our friends at Goliath Games in Plano have sponsored all the gifts for each box, and we need our volunteer's help gathering the remaining supplies.

We’ve all had to get creative during quarantine to continue to celebrate while respecting local ordinances and observing social distancing.

Our regular box referrals have been much slower as a result, and we’ve been contacting our referral partners to come up with alternative ways to continue to celebrate children in need.

The Frisco Food Pantry contacted us about donating smaller party at home boxes for their clients, and we felt this was the perfect fit!

In honor of our chapter’s first birthday, we will be donating TWENTY-FOUR BOXES containing a cake pan, cake mix, frosting, candles, partyware, gift wrap, a birthday card, decorations, and a gender neutral toy/game to Frisco Food Pantry!

Happy National Ice Cream Day! What flavor is keeping you cool today!?

We’re celebrating with our favorite flavor - Birthday Cake! 🍦🎂

Join us and make your own with this quick and easy No Churn Birthday Cake Ice Cream recipe from Cupcakes & Kale Chips!

Ingredients:
2 cups heavy whipping cream, well chilled
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled
1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles

Instructions:
1. Place a large bowl and beaters or whisk attachment into the freezer to chill for about 10 minutes.
2. Combine the heavy cream, vanilla, and salt in the chilled bowl, and using the whisk attachment of a stand mixer or hand mixer, whip the cream to stiff peaks.
3. Carefully pour the sweetened condensed milk and melted butter into the bowl, then gently fold into the whipped cream. Then quickly and gently fold in the sprinkles.
4. Transfer the ice cream into a container you can freeze. Cover tightly and freeze for several hours, or until firm.
