The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has received 66,000 doses of Sinovac vaccine allotted by the government and had started inoculating the target groups since Monday.

Deputy Bangkok governor Sophon Phisutthiwong said medical professionals will be the first group to receive the vaccine. The second group will be public health volunteers, and the last target group would be those who have chronic diseases.

He said however, there are 10 groups of people who are prohibited from receiving the Sinovac vaccine, including those under 18 years old and over 60 years, pregnant women, those who have uncontrollable symptoms, those who are suffering from brain or nervous diseases, those who have immune deficiency, those who have bleeding disorder or are under anticoagulation treatment, and those who show symptoms of fever.

PUTRAJAYA: Mana-mana individu yang telah menerima suntikan vaksin Covid-19 akan diberikan dokumen secara fizikal iaitu pasport vaksin atau dipamerkan melalui aplikasi MySejahtera.

Menteri Kesihatan, Datuk Seri Dr. Adham Baba berkata, perkara itu sedang diperhalusi kerajaan di bawah Jawatankuasa Khas Jaminan Akses Bekalan Vaksin Covid-19 (JKJAV) termasuk menilai kerjasama yang boleh dilaksanakan bersama negara-negara lain bagi pembangunan pasport vaksin Covid-19.

“Kalau ikut perancangan, kita perlu lihat bagaimana negara-negara lain boleh bekerjasama untuk membangunkan pasport vaksin tersebut terutama sekali apabila kita ke luar negara.

“Ketika ini, jika ke Arab Saudi pun perlu ada Yellow Book (maklumat suntikan vaksin), oleh itu kita akan cuba berunding dengan negara-negara lain bagaimana kita boleh selaraskan mengenai pasport vaksin ini di peringkat antarabangsa,” katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian dalam sidang akhbar sempena acara ketibaan bekalan vaksin Covid-19 Pfizer-BioNTech di Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur (KLIA) yang diadakan secara maya.
Sidang akhbar terbabit turut disertai Menteri Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi, Khairy Jamaluddin dan Menteri Pengangkutan, Datuk Seri Dr. Wee Ka Siong serta Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan, Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah.

Mengulas lanjut, Ka Siong berkata, beliau turut mengadakan perbincangan dengan rakan sejawatnya di Singapura sebelum ini untuk membuat perakuan bersama atau peringkat serantau supaya satu sijil vaksinasi universal boleh dilaksanakan.

Menurut beliau, pada masa ini proses vaksinasi sedang berjalan, dan tindakan susulan akan dilakukan yang mana menetapkan beberapa syarat itu kepada mereka yang menggunakan lapangan terbang negara di samping pematuhan ketat prosedur operasi standard (SOP) .

“Begitu juga bila sampai negara lain mereka (pengembara) mungkin tidak tertakluk dengan kuarantin lagi.
“Jadi ini antara perkara yang akan dilihat sekali gus menghidupkan semula sektor penerbangan di Malaysia selain kawasan serantau juga,” katanya. -UTUSAN ONLINE
