I'm really good at forgetting to soften my edges and letting my squishy bits show. I've spent a lot of time hardening my shell to keep myself safe from the outer world.

For a long long time, that did what it was supposed to do. It made me strong and helped me find my footing so I can stand on business.

Now here comes the part where I'm learning what kind of business to stand on. What battles to fight and when it's time to lay my weapons down.

The first part of my journey was definitely something I need to do alone. I didn't need to learn to love myself before I could love anyone else, but I definitely needed to learn to TRUST myself. To know that I know who I can let in. To trust that I can put myself back together if things don't go how I would have liked. To know I can trust my gut and set boundaries before things even get that far.

I wouldn't be able to continue my growth without my favorite girls. Raven gives me purpose. It honestly wasn't until a couple years after she was born that I really started to look at my life and formulate and plan of improvement.

Olivia gives me motivation. Since meeting her my whole world has blossomed in ways I could never imagine. I've been homesick for a place I thought I'd never find. And in her I've finally found it.

It feels really good to remember how much love I am full of. Finding different ways to express that love. To allow it to infect every aspect of my being. Intentionally. Purposefully.

I've never felt so free. Love truly is the highest vibration. Loving people. Loving places. Loving things.
