Grace and Peace family and friends in the matchless name of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) our Lord and Savior. Our scripture of reference today is Exodus 3:10 (NKJV) and it reads as follows: “Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.” The title of our devotional today is: “God gives us an appetite for our assignment!” Family and friends, I bring you greetings and pray that this devotional finds you doing well. Today the word of the Lord came to me concerning our purpose in this life. Let me first clear the air by saying we all have a God given purpose; to that end, it will take the Ruach Ha’ Kodesh (Holy Spirit) to help us discover what that purpose is. I am a firm believer that when we walk in our purpose, the result thereof will be a blessing for others. I honestly think to myself, how can I be a blessing to someone today? The truth of this question is simply by walking in my purpose. The quintessential question for us all today, is who is missing out on their blessing as a result of us not walking in our purpose? With respect to our scripture of reference, Moses didn’t ask for the responsibility He was given by God to lead Israel out of the clutches of Egypt; but, it was rather his purpose and because he said yes to God, a generation of Israelites walked into Canaan Land. Family and friends, I leave you with the words of Yeshua; He said, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45 NKJV). So, let us endeavor to walk in purpose so that we might be a blessing to others because God will honor our faithfulness and reward us accordingly. This is my prayer for you this day family and friends, in the powerful name of Yeshua Hamashiach by the power of the Ruach Ha’ Kodesh (Holy Spirit). Amen.
Grace and Peace family and friends in the matchless name of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) our Lord and Savior. Our scripture of reference today is Joshua 24:14 (NKJV) and it reads as follows: “Now therefore, fear the LORD, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the LORD!” The title of our devotional today is: “Choose Ye this day!” Family and friends, I bring you greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Yeshua Hamashiach; to that end, I pray that this devotional finds you well. Today the Lord our God placed on my heart a word that I believe we all would benefit from; simply put, He desires that we make a decision as it relates to our commitment to Him. In the book of Revelation, He said, “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth” (Revelation 3:15-16 NKJV)). In other words, it is incumbent upon us to do as Moses beckoned the Ancient Israelites to do when he said, “I call the heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessings and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them” (Deuteronomy 30:19-20 NKJV). Family and friends, this statement still reigns true for the believer in Yeshua! I pray that you would remain steadfast and unshakeable in your faith for the Lord our God is a way maker and we need only to be faithful and true in our worship of Him and in our deeds. This is my prayer for you this day as you endeavor to walk in purpose by faith in the name of Yeshua Hamashiach with the assistance of the Ruach Ha’ Kodesh (Holy Spirit). Amen.
Grace and Peace family and friends in the matchless name of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) our Lord and Savior. Our scripture of reference today is Galatians 6:9 (NKJV) and it reads as follows: “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” The title of our devotional today is: “Don’t Quit!” Family and friends, I pray that this devotional finds you doing well. I have a revelatory perspective that should revolutionize how we view life. What if I said to you that you were put here to win? What if I said to you that you get to decide whether you realize your God given purpose? Family and friends, I come before you by way of this message to convey to you that there is a season wherein you will find success consistent with your God given purpose if you faint not. You must understand that the enemy is crafty and does all manner of things to confuse, bamboozle, and deceive us into thinking that we are less than what God has purposed us to be. The sad part of this illusion, is that often times we fall for it. Moses said to the ancient Israelites, “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessings and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live” (Deuteronomy 30:19 NKJV). We have a choice family and friends, we can either believe the word of the living God as it relates to our well being or the lie of the enemy who Yeshua said was a “murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him” (John 8:44 NKJV). I pray this day family and friends that you would receive a revelation that you truly are more than a conqueror ! Now may the Lord our God continue to bless, keep and grant you peace in the mighty name of Yeshua Hamashiach by the power of the Ruach Ha’ Kodesh (Holy Spirit). Don’t Quit; run on and see what the end shall be!! Amen.
Grace and Peace family and friends in the matchless name of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) our Lord and Savior. Our scripture of reference today is John 8:31 (NKJV) and it reads as follows: “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, ‘If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free’”. The title of our devotional today is: “I want to be free!” Family and friends, I pray that this devotional finds you and your loved ones well. This morning as I asked the Lord for a Rhema (Right Now) word for all who shall read or hear of this devotional, I found myself being lead to the words of Yeshua as He was addressing Jews concerning their religious practices. It’s interesting how they didn’t understand what He was attempting to convey to them. They were in bo***ge by way of the religious practices and didn’t even know it! Furthermore, they made the following claim, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bo***ge to anyone” (John 8:33 NKJV). My question is then who are these people? Are they not the descendants of those whom God delivered out of bo***ge from Egypt? Yeshua siad to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham” (John 8:39 NKJV). My message today family and friends is simply this…let us do the works of Abraham who loved the Lord God and did as He instructed. Let us love Yeshua and be thankful for His finished work on Calvary. Let us incline our hearts and minds to the subtle nudges of the Ruach Ha’ Kodesh (Holy Spirit) for He provides us with instructions from the Lord and is here to help, aid and assist us. Let us not get caught up in religious practices which do serve to confuse and abuse us all the while dragging us farther away from God’s heart; instead, let us cling to that which Yeshua modeled which sets us on a path of righteousness which leads to true freedom. This is my prayer for us this day family and friends in the matchless name of Yeshua Hamashiach by the power of the Ruach Ha’ Kodesh. Amen.
Grace and Peace family and friends in the matchless name of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) our Lord and Savior. Our scripture of reference today is 1 Peter 1:3 (NKJV) and it reads as follows: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead”. The title of our devotional today is: “There is a hope found in Him! Family and friends, I bring you greetings in the name of Yeshua and pray that this devotional finds you well. As I was driving into work today, the Ruach Ha’ Kodesh (Holy Spirit) placed on my heart a need to reveal to some and to remind others about the hope that is found in Yeshua. The Bible describes this hope as a “Heavenly Inheritance” that is “incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away” (1 Peter 1:4 NKJV). This hope is stored up for us in heaven and enjoys a seat at the right hand of the Father. Indeed we have a hope that is in Yeshua our advocate before the Father and my prayer this day is that you would remember this and allow your faith in Yeshua to encourage your hearts and minds as you endeavor to walk in purpose. Trials and tribulations will come and go; but, the one thing that is constant and consistent is our Lord and Savior Yeshua Hamashiach. In closing, I am of the belief that the Apostle Paul got it right wherein it is written that “for in him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28 NKJV); in other words, put your faith in Yeshua for truly He is “able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20 NKJV). Now may the Lord bless and keep you all as you endeavor to walk in purpose by faith in Yeshua Hamashiach our Lord and Savior! Amen.
Grace and Peace family and friends in the matchless name of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) our Lord and Savior. Our scripture of reference today is Daniel 3:17-18 (NKJV) and it reads as follows: “If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.” The title of our devotional today is: My God is able! Family and friends, I bring you greetings in the name that is above all names; Yeshua Hamashiach! To that end, I pray that this devotional finds you well. Today as I searched the Holy Scriptures, I found myself in what I believe is a familiar story to those who are in the faith. For those who are not familiar with the story, we have the three Hebrew boys, Shadrach (Hananiah), Meshach (Mishael), and AbedNego (Azariah)who find themselves subject to being placed in a fiery furnace for their unwillingness to betray their faith and belief in the God who brought their ancestors out of Egypt. To be fair, there is so much that we could say about these two scripture verses; however, in the interest of time I would like to point out the obvious and that is we should never compromise our faith in our God as self-professed followers of the Biblical Hamashiach! I pray that when we find ourselves in situations wherein we could select the easy wrong over the hard right, that we would stand firm on the word of our God just as these three Hebrew men did. I think it’s fair to say that we live in a time and space wherein we find ourselves doing the very opposite of what the Apostle James admonished believers to do; he said, “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves” (James 1:22 NKJV). In other words, let your actions reflect your faith; stand firm and resolute for the God of our fathers is faithful and true. This is my prayer your you today family and friends as you endeavor to walk in purpose in the mighty name of Yeshua Hamashiach by the power of the Ruach Ha’ Kodesh (Holy Spirit). No compromise!! Amen.
Grace and Peace family and friends in the matchless name of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) our Lord and Savior. Our scripture of reference today is Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV) and it reads as follows: “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven:” The title of our devotional today is: “I need some flexibility in my life!” Family and friends, I pray that this devotional finds you well. A dear friend of mine wrote the following words to me this morning; he wrote, “Be thankful for the nights that turn into mornings, the friends that turn into family, dreams that turn into reality and lakes that turn into love”. As I searched the Holy Scriptures this morning, I found myself looking for a Rhema Word for us that would give us perspective as we wake to a new day. The fact of the matter is that there are many who did not get to see this day and as a result, families and friends find themselves grieving. The writer of Ecclesiastes reminds us that there is a season (time) for everything and it is incumbent upon us to recognize the times and not allow ourselves to become frustrated to the point of giving up on God. We must work at engaging our helper the Ruach Ha’ Kodesh; the one sent by God the father in the name of Yeshua. Yeshua said, “He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you” (John 14:26 NKJV); in other words, when we enter into decision-making processes and intentionally seek the aid and assistance of the Ruach Ha’ Kodesh, we can expect to receive guidance that is consistent with our purpose. And while God has placed a dream and or a desire upon your respective hearts that seems improbable at the particular time (season), I can assure you that God in His timing will bring it to fruition. As created beings, we simply need to be flexible and patient for the God of our fathers is just and true. The Prophet Habakkuk said to God, “O Lord, how long shall I cry, and You will not hear? Even cry out to You, ‘Violence!’ And You will not save.” (Habakkuk 1:2 NKJV). Note what God said in reply, “Look among the nations and watch-Be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days Which you would not believe, though it were told you” (Habakkuk 1:5 NKJV). My point today family and friends is that we must remain flexible by simply doing our part by faith and allowing the Sovereign Lord in His timing and infinite wisdom to do His. Now may the Lord our God bless and keep you all as you endeavor to walk in purpose as the flexible being you were created to be! Amen.
Grace and Peace family and friends in the matchless name of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) our Lord and Savior. Our scripture of reference today is Genesis 4:15 (NKJV) and it reads as follows: “And the LORD said to him, ‘Therefore, whoever kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.’ And the LORD set a mark on Cain, lest anyone finding him should kill him.” The title of our devotional today is: “Though my life be in error, I’m steal in protective custody!” Family and friends, I pray that this devotional finds you well and that it provides you with what I believe is some meaningful perspective. Today as I searched the Holy Scriptures along with some notes that I’d captured from a Sermon that my Pastor provided, I received a revelation that I believe will be beneficial to us as we journey through this mystery commonly referred to as life. As I reviewed my notes and read through today’s scripture of reference, I realized that it is nearly impossible to separate God’s love from us. Let’s not sensitize the text, Cain killed his brother and then feared that someone would do likewise to him. BUT God in His infinite wisdom stepped in and effectively said, not so! My point today family and friends is simply this. While our transgressions are abhorrent to our God, He still stretches forth His hands to bring us into loving covenant with Him; however, I would be remised if I didn’t bring your attention to what the Apostle Paul had to say about our conduct and character in light of God’s benevolent kindness towards us; he said, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?” (Romans 6:1-2 NKJV). In fact, the Apostle said that we should “walk in the newness of life” (Romans 6:4 NKJV). In other words, we should strive each day to live a life that is emblematical of the type of life that Yeshua modeled for us. Hear me well family and friends, it’s not to late to repent of our sins for God has extended His right hand of fellowship to us; take hold of it! This is my prayer for us this day family and friends in the mighty name of Yeshua Hamashiach by the power of the Ruach Ha’ Kodesh (Holy Spirit). Amen.
Grace and Peace family and friends in the matchless name of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) our Lord and Savior. Our scripture of reference today is Genesis 3:12 (NKJV) and it reads as follows: “Then the man said, ‘The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.” The title of our devotional today is: “You never see greatness where there is blaming!” Family and friends, I pray that this devotional finds you well and that the Spirit of the Lord is with you. Today as I searched the word of God, I was given this devotional in hopes that it will edify your respective souls while simultaneously causing you to see yourself as the mighty warrior that you are. If we are honest with ourselves, we’ve all made excuses for decisions which resulted in undesirable outcomes. Take for instances our scripture of reference; however, let us go to Genesis 2:17 first wherein we see God giving the following instructions to Adam, “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die”. Please note that this is before Eve is even created; so, she received this information second hand directly from Adam. My point today family and friends is simply this….we have a choice to make, and I will put before you what Moses put before the Ancient Israelites; he said, “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live” (Deuteronomy 30:19 NKJV). Choose life today family and friends by making decisions that align with your God given purpose. Choose life today by entering into decision making processes that are not devoid of your helper the Ruach Ha’ Kodesh (Holy Spirit). And finally, choose life today that is devoid of excuses and vain babbling by walking in your purpose for you will surely be walking in greatness! This is my prayer for you this day family and friends, in the name of Yeshua Hamashiach by the power of the Ruach Ha’ Kodesh. No more excuses! Choose a life that is tied to your God ordained purpose! Amen.
Grace and Peace family and friends in the matchless name of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) our Lord and Savior. Our scripture of reference today is Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV) and it reads as follows: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,’ Says the LORD.” The title of our devotional today is: “I was created to win!” Family and friends, I pray that this devotional finds you well. Today I find myself compelled to remind some while enlightening others to a recorded fact concerning this journey we find ourselves on called life. What if I told you that the game of life is rigged on your behalf? Yeshua when speaking of His pending crucifixion said to the disciples, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33 NKJV). As self professed followers of the Biblical Hamashiach, we do not view things as others do. Indeed we are to stand on God’s Holy word for we know full well that it shall not return to Him void. In short, if He said it, we can count on it coming to fruition. To that end, when Rome, and the religious leaders (Pharisees and Sadducees) thought that they had won by subjecting Yeshua to the cross, He showed them and the whole world in 3 days time that He was born to win. And this is my message for you today family and friends. I ask that you think back to troubling times and look at what God has accomplished for, to and through you as evidence of His goodness, love and commitment to you. I pray that you would take on a winner’s attitude because that is what you were created to be. Do not succumb to the wiles and superfluities of this life. Surely the enemy will attempt to discourage you as you make your way. You simply need to remind him of his pending fate for a “lake of fire and brimstone” (Revelation 20:10 NKJV) awaits him. Be of good cheer family and friends as you endeavor to walk in purpose with a winner’s attitude because you were created to win! Amen.
Grace and Peace family and friends in the matchless name of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) our Lord and Savior. Our scripture of reference today is 1 Samuel 1:22 (NKJV) and it reads as follows: But Hannah did not go up, for she said to her husband, “Not until the child is weaned; then I will take him, that he may appear before the LORD and remain there forever.” The title of our devotional today is: “Your purpose is calling!” Family and friends, I bring you greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior and pray that this devotional finds you well. Today the Lord placed on my heart a message that I pray will resonate with you and bring about a revelation of who God truly is and who you truly are in Yeshua. In true transparency, I freely admit that I am one who seeks to encourage the hearts and minds of those who find themselves devoid of inspiration and awareness; to that end, I am extremely intentional when I use the gift of exhortation concerning the people of God. Why? Because we all need to hear from time to time that we matter and that we were created with greatness in mind. Take for instances our scripture of reference; note, the Prophet Samuel’s purpose was ordained just like the rest of us before he was manifested in the flesh. If you read the Prophet’s story, it wasn’t anything spectacular that he did; but, rather noble in that he was obedient to God’s calling on his life. In fact, if we are being honest, he didn’t even realize that God was calling him until Eli the Priest perceived it (1 Samuel 3:8 NKJV). Family and friends, I leave you with this…God has purposed great things for us all to accomplish; to that end, it’s not wise nor prudent to look at what others have accomplished and compare it to what God has purposed for you. I pray that you would be obedient to what God has purposed specifically for you because you have no idea how it might bless others. This is my prayer for us this day for our obedience and sacrifice is not measured against what others do; but, rather what we do through our faith in the finished work of Yeshua. And remember, you can do all things that have been purposed for you through Christ. You got this!
Grace and Peace family and friends in the matchless name of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) our Lord and Savior. Our scripture of reference today is Romans 11:1-2 (NKJV) and it reads as follows: “I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don’t you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel:”. The title of our devotional today is: “Jacob has He loved!” Family and friends, I pray in the name of Yeshua that you are doing well. The word of the Lord came to me today concerning the covenant people. The Bible speaks at length about these people and God uses them as examples of how we should and shouldn’t conduct our lives; stay with me. Israel is a chosen people who were set apart to serve as an example of how all men should love the Lord and their neighbors. In short, they failed miserably because they turned their back on the living God and He removed His hand from them; however, I think it shortsighted to think and preach that the church has replaced Israel. The Apostle Paul warns Gentiles not to think more highly of themselves than they ought to and against boasting against the natural branch (Romans 11:18-21 and Romans 12:3). For God has not forsaken Israel and true followers of Yeshua would understand this. Did not Yeshua say, “I came but for the lost sheep of Israel”. The Apostle Paul himself tells us that it is through Israel’s unbelief that Gentiles were grafted into the tree that is Yeshua through faith and that Israel who finds his branches broken away at the moment, will have a remnant that is grafted back in. So, let us keep things in perspective family and friends so that we do not find ourselves in contempt of God’s Holy Word! For the promise was given to and through Abraham and his seed. We need not act as if the Word of God is null and void for we run the risk of making Him a liar; instead, let us do as Yeshua admonished and pray for one another that we all might continue to receive the grace and mercy of our God. This is my prayer for us this day in the name of Yeshua Hamashiach by the power of the Ruach Ha’ Kodesh. Amen.
Grace and Peace family and friends in the matchless name of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) our Lord and Savior. Our scripture of reference today is Zachariah 1:2-3 (NKJV) and it reads as follows: “The Lord was very angry with your ancestors. Therefore tell the people: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Return to me,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will return to you,’ says the Lord Almighty.” The title of our devotional today is: “Obedience is the order of the day!” Family and friends, I pray in the name of Yeshua Hamashiach that this devotional finds you well. Last week I found myself aboard a flight enroute to New Orleans, LA and I receive a revelation that I believe will help, aid and assist us tremendously as followers of the Biblical Hamashiach (Messiah). Those of you who know me, know that I don’t subscribe to happenstance; in fact, I believe that those who intentionally avail themself to what the Ruach Ha’ Kodesh (Holy Spirit) desires to communicate will receive a word. If I’m honest with you all and myself, I expect to receive a word and it’s my hope that we would all take on this posture. With respect to our scripture of reference, we have the Prophet Zachariah delivering a sobering word to the people of Israel, admonishing them not to be like their stiffnecked ancestors who failed to keep the covenental agreement they made under a blood oath with the Lord our God. I’m writing to you this day family and friends to echo the Prophet’s admonishment. Let us turn from our wicked ways family and friends by repenting with our whole heart so that our God will do as He has promised. If it’s truly our heart’s desire for Him to return and do what only He can do, then we must do our part and that family and friends is to return to Him and worship Him in both spirit and truth. This is my prayer for us this day in the mighty name of Yeshua Hamashiach by the power of the Ruach Ha’ Kodesh (Holy Spirit). Amen.
Grace and Peace family and friends in the matchless name of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) our Lord and Savior. Our scripture of reference today is Matthew 7:24 (NKJV) and it reads as follows: “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:”. The title of our devotional today is: “Build it and He will come!” Family and friends, I pray that this devotional finds you well. Today the word of the Lord came to me concerning wisdom and the use thereof. In antiquity, a conversation between a father and his son took place and the father said, “Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding” (Proverbs 4:7 NKJV). King Solomon was purported to have been the wisest man to have ever lived; yet, when he turned his back on wisdom, a nation is soon earmarked for decimation. King Solomon did not keep what the Lord had commanded. Therefore the Lord said to Solomon, ‘Because you have done this, and have not kept My covenant and My statues, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant” (1 Kings 11:11 NKJV). Shema O (Hear) Israel those of you who subscribe to the finished work of Yeshua, the Lord your God is a trustworthy God and you must remember that your ancestors entered into a blood oath with Him which is binding from generation to generation. It’s long past time that you turn back to the Lord your God and honor the oath. God gave us 613 laws, statues and commandments and we would not and could not keep them. So He came in the person of Yeshua and turned the 613 into two. Yeshua said, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang the Law and the Prophets” (Matthew 22:37-40 NKJV). Seems pretty straightforward; yet, we continue to miss the mark. Let’s wake up family and friends for it’s time to get back to the basics. The word of God is our strong foundation and it’s time that we build upon it by seeking His face and doing what Yeshua modeled. This is my prayer for you this day family and friends in the matchless name of Yeshua Hamashiach by the power of the Ruach Ha’ Kodesh (Holy Spirit). Amen.
